Wow, did you have to get to the boot sale first thing and hang around like a vulture while the stallholder unpacked? Stuff like that normally gets snapped up straight away!
I try to buy at least one item for eBay at every boot sale or jumble sale I attend. Some sell well, most make very small profits, some fail to sell at all.
My biggest profit to date was on a tuxedo I bought in my local Red Cross shop for £3, and sold for £62.
I seldom sell at car boot sales because I have no car of my own, so it's more hassle than it's worth for me.
Since the challenge has been issued, though, I will soon purchase an item (I know not what, but the next car boot sale in my town is 6th Feb so it may well be then) and post details of what it is and what I paid for it when I list it on eBay, then if it makes a loss you can all laugh at me!

I bought 3 sink units from B&Q a few months back for £10 each and sold them on Ebay for £90 each.

I think thats my best return.

    Carrie.

After work every friday next to my bank (i have to cash my cheque) there is a charity shop, i always go in there. I found a set of Disney wine glasses, mickey and minnie, where they are the stems of the glass (am i making sense?) i bought them for £1 each but i won't sell them, they are lovely i have seen them on Ebay going for a few quid.
