Its thursday and my usual £100 has gone winging its way to them today.
That makes a grand total of £5415 so far.
This is so much less painful than the way i was paying before, and getting behind and getting snotty letters. I have paid off more so far this year than in just about the whole of last year.
And its all down to you fab MSE'rs keeping each other motivated.
Thank you all. :T2013 TARGET £30k

Thanks goodness its Poets day!!!:j
Its not been a particularly hard week but i still love the weekends especially Saturday cos i never work on a Saturday if I can avoid it. Sundays are usually spent with my head in the books preparing my work for the following week.
Well, I have done my usual transfer - £100 which makes my total to them £5515 so far. quite good but still a long way off my eventual target.
Having a very poor year followed by a fairly good year is bad in tax purposes cos you get screwed 12 months later which is exactly what has happened here.
If i understood how our tax system worked it would be great, but this paying your tax in advance and paying it on invoices you have raised (so money you may not even receive if the debtor is having difficulties) is a real g*t and totally unfair!
C'est la vie i suppose!2013 TARGET £30k

Another £100 to them today, making my total so far £5615
I found out today that 8 people who work in legal services in Liverpool were made bankrupt by the HMRC this year to date.
I am soooooooooooo not going to let that happen if I can do anything about it.

I would suspect that those 8 people were not making almost daily payments of £100.........Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

I suspect those 8 people were still living their lives as if they did not have any tax to pay at all
I think there are a few of my colleagues out there that are sailing very close to the wind and may go under in a few months.
I have cut back far more than i ever believed, and the motivation to sort this out and budget properly has meant that i feel i have sabotaged myself if i was not to keep on this road.
I am a born again MSE'er!!!:D

I was trying to round up my sig and so made a £125 payment to the swines today. I then also did a payment to VAT so paid more than i really wanted to today...never mind, its all coming down.
Makes my total so far: £5740 :j
I'm expecting a letter from them today telling me how i am getting on. It would be good to see the progress in writing and actually see some proof that this strange daily ritual i have is making a difference.
Have a great day everyone x2013 TARGET £30k

Its such a relief to see it coming off.
Bit peed off with the budget today - im going to get scr*wed by the increase in fuel duty cos i have to drive very long distances for work.
I have not read the rest cos it will all be a load of twaddle.
