Have to admit, since joining MSE, I can't do any 'voluntary' transactions with zeroes on the end. So yesterday had to transfer £406 between accounts rather than the £400 I needed.

Could you do £101 on a Mon, £102 on a Tues etc? (You'll have to live on baked beans all week)

I'm already living off baked beans all week!:p

It makes the maths easier if i have zero's on the end. That simple, oh and the fact that its really easy to read on a bank statement. Lordy, can you imagine how much more i would have to pay a month if i was to add the days on to it as well?

    Mind you....

Well done Lemma!!!! I have to ask - do you have money coming in every single day as well as going out?

I get payments in roughly twice a month (from govt) and occasionally at other times from private work. Sometimes i get none in at all then others i get a chunk. By paying this way i can ensure that my cash flow is a bit healthier than paying it out in lump sums. At least this way they get something rather than nothing.

Its my odd way of doing it but its the only way i have found that works.

Thanks for your positive strokes everyone, they really help.

Fear not Whitewing, I am here, albeit later than usual :D

Been working miles away today so had to set off at the crack of dawn.

I cannot go through the week now without having made these payments, i think i would feel wracked with guilt if i missed a weekday payment to them. I was so panic stricken about 8 weeks ago when i did in fact run out of money cos i was throwing everything at this. But i have budgeted fairly well and have everything crossed that i shall see some more money this month. Not received any yet but i am not panicking...yet.

So, no surprises £100 to HMRC - total £7100.

    Thank Goodness its nearly Friday!:p
