Lemma's Secondary Tax Bill Induced LBM - OMG

That figure is our corportation tax. We are now a Ltd Company, although cash flow still a massive problem, hence still paying it off.
POA is a killer, majority of our debts were run up through paying tax via credit card when we were a Partnership due to the hassle we were getting. Its all a long story !
They are more lenient now I believe than years ago.
I can see where your accoutants is coming from though, the trouble was I was always terrified of not paying (at least something to them ) incase they knocked on my door , which sadly did happen.
Things have been easier ish since becoming Ltd which we should have done a long time ago, but that again is another long story !! I have a few of those !!

Hi Lemma, Just skimmed thru your diary, You have done amazingly well to be where you are ! THEY .. well .. best not said what my opinion of them is .. Your accountant is right tho, they do go for the soft touches ... In a previous life I worked with THEM , but on the PAYE side, We were always told to go for the sure money first .. That was 30+ years ago, But I dont expect things will have changed much.
You keep going girl, you WILL get there and what a wonderful feeling that will be.Its just a bad day, Not a bad life .. :cool:0 -
Hi there everyone
I've not been on for a while - long story.
I am still plodding away, still keeping to my agreements but still being hounded. I feel like a hamster on a wheel.
The problem with self assessment is that every 6 months your next tranche of tax appears on your tax bill so you never get ahead. Paying tax in advance is not fair but hey ho...that's the law!
Thank you all for your kind thoughts.2013 TARGET £30k

Just seen your post above.
How are you doing ?
We managed to clear last years corporation tax bill the day the new bill became due ! Needless to say we cant pay, so I will now continue on the treadmill and pay what we can when we can and hope they keep off of our backs !
The whole POA thing is a total and utter nightmare.....keep smiling , we will get there one day !
Take Care xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
