Well done!!! That's absolutely marvellous. And so clever of you to have manageable goals. In order for this to be Boots related ....... I'm sure all the exercise you've been getting, pounding the aisles, must have helped!

    xx

Thanks Scarlett - unfortunately I haven't updated my signature for nearly a year - I have got stuck - still haven't got to that 13 stone something yet but I will when I can get back into the swing of things again.

Oh and yes - it was all due to Boots good work - it was pounding their aisles and carrying all the heavy bags home that helped witht he weight training and of course I used their scales every Saturday using one of their smartcards.

My local is useless for clearance or bargains. Did manage to get a Expert shaving oil and after shave balm for 46p (after ACM voucher) but no clearance hair stuff, no cheap face stuff, loads of old style HE as full price and no L'oreal kits!

I have loads of vouchers to use, can't make up my mind where to go this afternoon. Tamworth, Walsall, Stafford or the Fort? Decisions decisions.

I was on the other night and someone asked about creams for spot treatment, after they'd used something that hadn't suited their skin. They normally used Chanel products. I replied about Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream. I can't remember your user name but if it's you I've found a little cream sample pot for something else that's empty and i could put some of the 8 hour in it for you to try if you wanted. Just PM me. Waffle over, sorry

Thank you Flossie,it was me who was having the spot trouble so thank you for your kind offer but I actually bought the jar of EA 8 hour cream on Saturday and my spots are drying out already.

I see you can use it for a number of other uses and the assistant told me to keep the jar when it is empty and buy the tube to fill it up.

  • Small store - but just popped in on the off chance -

Managed to get the Girard New York Nights giftset for £8.** and used the 500pts 'Love Notes' voucher from the back of the book the lovely sa was chuffed for me. I don't think I'll need the other love notes vouchers that I have aquired ;)

I managed to use the P&P £5.00 AC voucher that I aquired (thank you) ;)
sa did'nt even look at the name on the card. Managed to get the hand cream to add to a 'Pamper those hands' hamper that I am making for SMIL.

They had 10 of the ROC sets out reduced to £10 and on the clearance label they had written voucher expired, but one of those use your £5.00 off skincare voucher things on the SEL. There were 10 KOS serums @ £1.22 each, KOS face wash £2.4* some vitamins, lempsips, nurofen caplets and ribbed condoms all on clearance,1 strange looking hairdryer & some Johnsons body lotion and dove bodywash.

No Gillete putting sets - did'nt expect them anyway but if they'd had them I would of
stripped off and run round the store as a victory lap :D

No reduced HE and I tried to listen in on a conversation that the 3 nice sa's were having about 'reductions this week' and 'we'd better get in there quick as ***** won't leave anything for us' and 'well we all knew these would come down and we've all been waiting for it' Waiting for what I was thinking, then noticed they'd spotted me, I think the way that I was standing in the middle of the aisle and leaning towards them MIGHT of given it away. But, one of the said sa had just been working her gizmo price checking things in the bathing ailse, so I shall become the very regular regular to this store for the next week :D
