Have been splitting my sides for a couple of weeks over some of the messages posted here and also found out what a lovely caring lot of :A :A you all are. I have also gained some great bargains with all your tips so thank you all.
Dont know if i am allowed to post this request here but i've seen it mentioned that some of you make up gift baskets/hampers to cheer up friends with all your boots goodies.
Well my BF's Mum is going into hospital to have a tumour removed from her bowl and my BF lives in Australia ( roll on June when she's home for a visit) so its my plan to freshener up her flat leave her a lovely bunch of flowers and a pamper basket to cheer her up when she comes home.
I've started with the olay and time delay skincare stuff using £5 vouchers also got her some MM shampoo and conditioner and here's were you all come in, as i'm now stuck as to what else i can add using the current offers /points, I would really appreciate any tips you have as I have never put anything like this together before.:o
P.S. i dont mind spending some money on non voucher/points stuff.
P.P.S. Sorry once again if i'm not meant to post this request here:o
Hiya :hello: voucher queen,
glad you like this thread
you could always add some bubble bath / shower gel, etc things in your hamper as theres still some clearance products in Boots, if theres anything that you would think is suitable + hopefully your store would have a few things left for you .. x:hello:

kitiaracat wrote: »just to let you and other derby boosters know there is a ACM there. It is almost straight in front of you to the left as you walk in. It is set back a bit so some stands can hide it. It is across from the tills if you like. Well it was there a month ago you never know they could have removed it as it is often out of order. HTH
I am iching to get out but i got admitted to hospital and have to rest now. While i was in there they kick vistors out now during meal time so Dh went on search for the mens expert kit, any gwp and the putting set to surprise me and cheer me up but he came back empty handed. He picked up what he thought was the expert kit but it was the wrinkle one and it scanned at £18.50 so of course he left it. At least he tried, full marks for effort bless him I think it was something to keep him busy.
Hope you are on the mend kitiaracat.
I must have walked past the ACM twice this week without seeing it :rotfl: !0 -
Also voucher queen, you could look 2 see if your local stores have any of the L'oreal gwp ( white bag with minitures day + night cream ) them go through when you spend £5 on ANY skincare but don't forget to use your wrinklie 2 make it very cheap as well x:hello:

then in your MSE reply box type the word that you want to be the linky eg: Boots, then highlight the word with your mouse, then click on the hyper link symbol (globe )and paste the url over the http bit in the pop-up box. then it should look like this;
Boots
hope that makes sense!

Hey, not been on here for a few months, trying not to spend any money, but my mother in law is after some ROC stuff so I have an excuse to have a nosey on the thread.
So my question is, is there any glitches on the ROC stuff at the mo? I don't know what it is she's after she just said the "ROC face filler stuff" :rotfl:
I noticed on the first post that you can get a voucher for £5 off ROC when you spend £5 in store, is this offer still on? Are there any other vouchers that you can get that work with it? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me
Hi yes the voucher for £5 off ROC (amongst other brands) is still on. The voucher you get is in 2 halfs and the other half is a £2 off haircare (certain brands).
I don't know of any glitches on ROC but check out the clearance shelf if your store has one, as I got a reduced set of ROC items today, and I could use my £5 on it as well. (night cream, eye gel, sample day cream & make-up bag - sadly no face filler as I could really do with that!!). HTH0 -
Hi,
I posted a while back asking for help with No.7 makeup...just wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped, sorry I don't remember the user names
I don't wear the makeup everyday, only special occasions but tempted to wear the No 7 mineral foundation everyday as you can't even tell it's there0 -
Whoever was looking for the list I made of cheap things to get with the skincare wrinklie - here it is.
Went Bootsing with Mum again today. Got 2 Model Me styling sprays for £1.47 (free with wrinklie) and used 150 points ACM vouchers (again from Mum's account, mine was only giving 100 - since they're not scanning I figured it was too much to chance using both the 150 and 100). Also got S&G Endless Glove hand cream and a mini Hand Food - both with the £2 voucher off. Paid a grand total of £2.60.
Unfortunately, I tried the Endless Glove on the way home, and it made my hands itch - I wonder if it's maybe the kiwi fruit extract, I'm allergic to kiwi. Is there any point in me trying to take it back to Boots - since it's not a Boots brand product will they just tell me I can't have a refund?0 -

Yes you can use the £5 skincare voucher, offer is valid until end of Feb (not sure of exact date) don't know of any other vouchers but peeps have seen lots of Roc stuff on the clearance shelves (don't know about this particular one) so might be an idea to check there first. Also don't forget to use any total spend vouchers from acm or mailings before you hand over the £5 voucher (wrinklie) (I forgot my double points one the other day, Doh!)
edit: TIRkiz you've got a pm!0 -
