    Nice to see another Cardiff Bootser on here :) I'm back home next week so I will let you know if I find anything.

    Can anyone from Birmingham please tell me how many Boots stores are in the city centre? And which ones are the best for clearance? Thanks :)

    I was on a visit to Birmingham last week and went to 2 stores in the city centre. There is one on the high street (which had a good clearance section near the back wall on the ground floor) and one in the bull ring shopping centre (this one is quite small and I didn't see a clearance section, only a small stand at the front with No7 reductions). There may be other stores in the centre?
  • spent the £2 off haircare but have the £5 side if anybody wants it just pm if you do.

    Thanks Sally! The high street is the one with Primark on right? I get sooo confused in Birmingham shopping, especially in the shopping centre :rotfl:
  • hi, first copy the URL that you want, eg boots page, then in your MSE reply box type the word that you want to be the linky eg: Boots, then highlight the word with your mouse, then click on the hyper link symbol (globe ) th_createlink.gif and paste the url over the http bit in the pop-up box. then it should look like this;
    Boots
    hope that makes sense!
    I wondered how to do this, thankyou mini.:)

    Single use cameras are on BOGOF at the moment and some single use boots cameras (with the xmas design on)
    have been reduced to £1, so with BOGOF, just 50p each. They say develope before 02/2011. Might come in handy for someone.:)

    So what I do now is take the item back, and if it had a GWP or a voucher, I don't take the receipt. Often I haven't still got it anyway. You won't be refunded with cash, but they'll put the amount on a gift card. HTH

    SandraScarlett, how do you manage that?!! Every time I have taken something without a receipt, even when it was No7 which made my face go blotchy, they wouldn't refund on a gift card but insisted I find other things to the same value for an exchange.

    Managed to use the £2 Naked voucher today from last weeks Sun on a Body wash and hand wash reduced to 98p each and asst gave me 4p change!

    When she saw me looking at her rather strangely she said "well I have to do what the till tells me to and it says I have to give you 4p change"! Wasn't complaining.

    Aslo found Nicky Clarke mens professional grooming kit for £10 and Philips Sonicare Elite 7300 toothbrush set for £25 for ds.

    I have only ever taken 2 things back + both times I have had 2 do an exchange with minimum of the same value, which I suppose it's better than nothing

    No, that's New Street. Walk past Primark (with Primark on your left) and turn left into High Street. Boots is opposite M&S.

    There is a Boots in the Bull Ring and a very small Boots at the top end of New Street.
