  • No reduced HE and I tried to listen in on a conversation that the 3 nice sa's were having about 'reductions this week' and 'we'd better get in there quick as ***** won't leave anything for us' and 'well we all knew these would come down and we've all been waiting for it' Waiting for what I was thinking, then noticed they'd spotted me, I think the way that I was standing in the middle of the aisle and leaning towards them MIGHT of given it away. But, one of the said sa had just been working her gizmo price checking things in the bathing ailse, so I shall become the very regular regular to this store for the next week :D

I've seen new varieties in new packaging of the radox shower smoothies, radox elements shower gels and the radox bath washes so its my guess that more stores will start to discount these as time goes by. It might be just me but the bigger stores seem reluctant to discount the items early, probably because they feel confident in selling most of them without needing to discount them.

Needed to let my hair down so went for a bit of BOOTSing this morning. Someone has cleaned CROWN POINT, LEEDS of all the reduced hair care products! So don't go there if you wanna use your winkies. Saw about 8 x reduced HE at 74p, so be quick if you want them. Managed to use the £2 S+G voucher on a mini. Put some lip balm on before I went to the SA, and did a pouty smile and she overrode it for me! Woohoo.

    .

what am i meant to say when i do this and do i do this in a single transaction or with other things??? has anyone else tried this??? is it better to do it with the 3 for 2 or in single lots??? confused:confused:
    please help xx

I'd agree with that - I've seen good clearance, mega reduced HE etc, much earlier in smaller stores than the big ones round here. With the exception of Derby Westfield of course, which has very sticker-happy SA's at the moment :rotfl: :T .
  • I think most of the old GWPs that are sold off are vastly over-priced. I did buy some of the gold bags a few weeks ago but by using pinkies and 250 pts vouchers in Boots Logic I was paid £1.50 to take each one away ;)

My store has the last one (the little bag, mirror and brush) for sale at £6.50 at the moment - what a rip off!

My local has the black bags @ £3.25 - can't possibly use another mirror or brush though so have left well alone!

I thought those GWPs were really pretty poor quality - and definitely not worth more than a couple of quid  .

I had no probs using the £2 voucher on the mini hand food this morning, just handed her the voucher, it didnt work, she called supervisor over, both read the voucher then did manual £2 adjustment.
But when I tried to do it again this afternoon in different store the supervisor said I couldnt use it as for skincare. If it wasnt for the fact that had very noisy grumpy 2yr old son with me I would have argued that hand cream is skin care (doesnt state 'facial' skincare on new voucher). But cos of my DS I just made a quick escape instead without the hand cream.
now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it :o

Glad I didn't get one then!

I got one of the no7 bronzing pearls christmas gift sets in November for £5 which was reduced because the packaging was damaged - should have been £15 ish? Am well chuffed with it and threw my original set of no7 bronzing pearls away which were twelve years old and were probably crawling with bacteria:rotfl:
The brush is lovely and the bag is really nice too.

Afternoon all, had a bit of a rubbish bootsing day. Took my S&G vouchers to the till with some minis and the sa wouldn't let me have them, wouldn't even try to see if they would work. I told her that the only restriction on them was the wipes, but she was adamant. She went to check with a manager who came over, and she said whenever they do a voucher, it never applies to minis. So came home empty handed. Should I give cs a call? this is the 3rd time I have had vouchers refused in this store.

Ladies & Gents, can I remind everyone to check the expiry dates of reduced ROC products before you buy as many of them are very short dated. Including those in gift sets and particularly if you're putting them away for gifts. I got one that was short dated which is ok as it's for myself but didn't realise that they have expiry dates and would be mighty :o to give something as a gift that was out of date as I imagine any of us would.
