Has anyone tried the Revitalising Hand Saviour from the No7 Body Beautiful range? Is it any good (and does it smell like the body wash and bath soak - I love the smell of those)? As it's getting colder, my hands are quite dull and dry so I'm looking for something to perk them up a bit.

Alternatively, does anyone have any other suggestions for a good, reasonably inexpensive hand cream/treatment?
Nulon (from SuperD**g) do a product that's remarkably similar to No.7 hand saviour; it's called Hand Treatment Scrub and it's in a tube. I paid 65p when it was on offer! Try massaging in some sweet almond oil (about 80p'ish from the chemist) after you use the scrub. Worked a treat for me. HTH

Me too - until about this time last month, I would have chucked all my blinkies/wrinklies in the bin, and done all my toiletries shopping at Tesco  . I knew what the ACM machine was for, but never used it - or my AC !

Bless you Boots grabbit thread :T

glad you found the thread balletshoes:)It's never too late to start bootsing and there is always a new glitch to replace the last one:D

that's mr b for you:rolleyes: it is very annoying when you read other peoples shopping lists and you find you have paid more for the products. I think instore reductions are down to the store manager.

yesterday, I was in my local store and they had loads of sanctuary facial products on clearance. Everything was over £6, however, I bought the very same products before xmas - from the same store for £1 or £2:confused:

I think you'll find its based on percentages. My guess is they work on 25%, 50% and 75% or something roughly like that. Tesco do the same if you look at their reduction stuff too, which is why the prices often look a little odd.

What frustrates me though is how different stores have different things reduced. In Norwich for example, some stores had lots of clearance items but the store down the road had all those same items at full price.

I guess it keeps us on our toes though.;)

Sophie Rabbit was the cream reduced/on clearence? And did the till beep for the 250pts from the GWP? My pts vouchers, ending 3176 (I think) always beep and these r not scanned automatically (apart from when I purchased the P&P serum @ £8.60). So, it's pot luck, if the SA will add the pts manually, lol! TIA

Sorry to be so long replying out shopping today, yes the cream was reduced and no the till didn't beep. HTH

    Small shop today
    4 HE reduced 73p with 400 points
    2 Gillette Shaving Foam 72p

  • Hi all :D

Gillette putting sets downstairs and upstairs.

Absolutely LOADS of stuff on clearance in watford harlequin today (well compared to the usual tiny amount!)

1st clearance area is downstairs by the escalators to go up (missed it but luckily SKMS Snr was few steps behind so she had a good look around) - mainly wrapping paper but few gift sets from Xmas still there.

2nd clearance (more stuff) - upstairs where you get off the escalator from downstairs. Had:
    - tony & guy shampoo for rustic coloured hair (something like that)
    - elizabeth arden lipglosses £3.4x
    - loads of other elizabeth arden perfumes and make up
    - loads of hair bits and bobs
    - 1 x natural collection strawberry gift set (£4.xx)
    - Nivea DNAge action zone (£3.25)
    - No7 sun care (cheaper than Brent cross!)
    - botanics creams and a brush
    - JK nail files (the ones that used to earn us 500pts WYB 2..) 74p
    - JK make up bag £3
    - odd handbags
    - snowmen 27exp cameras - scan at £2.xx although not marked on SEL
    - other odds and ends including: eyelash curler, fake glue on nails, fake eyelash set £4 (missing the glue), Toni&guy hairbrush (£4), dummies x 2 (no price)

    Our shops:

    Shop 1

Nails inc duo set for weak nails £1.72
    2 pk scrunchies £1.70
    Coloured hair grips £1.60
    Aubergine hair clip £1.50
    Gishiki accessories set £1.95

    Total: £8.50 - gained wrinklies

    Shop 2

2 x Nivea DNAge action zones at £3.25 each

    Total: £1.50
    Using: wrinklie :D

    Not available:

    No reduced
    - HE
    - Radox
    - Naked
    - Loreal mens £3.xx sets
    - Gilette
    - Model Me
    - Love Notes booklet

Off for dinner now but will catch up soon!

EDIT: Thanks minimoneyme - watford was sooo busy today didn't make it to waterfields. Also didn't see the Lee Stafford but like you said the store was very confusing! Took me a while to work out where the bath stuff had gone! Maybe give em a ring (if you can get through!) and see if they have any left?

Me too!!! And I was beaten by Geordie Lass into giving you a proper Bootsing welcome, Shampoo Shirley, and to all the other newbies. As OP said "It's only shampoo" and I suspect peeps have a grudging admiration for you! ;)

As I said on a previous post, I sinned heavily on my first post, and even after I started posting again, I felt I should prostrate myself on the floor before paying homage to this thread! Gawd, we all make mistakes. :o

And yes, I was one of the many that used to leave my vouchers in my basket, and never approached an ACM - cos I thought it was a Cash Machine!!!! :rotfl:

OP asked if I printed several of the S & G vouchers. Yes, I did. I printed three on two sheets, and gave one sheet to my BF and one sheet I used. Mimi said something like he couldn't be bothered with all that palava, but it took about 2 minutes!!

Weather permitting, I'm out with another friend in London on Monday, and she wants to go to the Tate Modern, so I'll be Bootsing in the City, then 3 days lunching with different peeps (using 2 for 1 vouchers, naturally! ;) ), then BF and I are off to Bluewater on Friday morning, followed by Beckton Clearance in the afternoon.

Will report back. Good Luck to all Bootsers on finding Naked Men on 3 for 2!! Or even BOGOF! :j :j

    xx
