I found some olay hand treatment reduced to just over £3 the other day in high street kensington. It might be worth keeping a look out for it in other stores. I wish we could still use the skincare vouchers on this.

Can anyone remember the days when we could get sanctuary bathing products with the £5 skincare vouchers? those were the days:D
I got an Olay set in Superdrug yesterday with the hand treatment, body moisturiser and a manicure set for £1.99. Worth looking in there as it was in the old packaging so they may have some to clear.

I'm now thinking to give it back but its been over 28 days, what should I do I would prefer a refund so would the SA do that or would she get a replacement but they're OOS! or would I/am I eligible to get the amount on a gift card???

:rotfl: It used to take me about 6 month to save 100 points:eek: I never went near the ACM machine. I had no idea you could print off points coupons, let alone get products free with skincare vouchers - I used to bin them all. I'm making up for lost time now:D

Me too - until about this time last month, I would have chucked all my blinkies/wrinklies in the bin, and done all my toiletries shopping at Tesco  . I knew what the ACM machine was for, but never used it - or my AC !

Bless you Boots grabbit thread :T

Hi sweetie. What I did was paste and stick the whole section starting from the bit that says in red "This is even MORE embarrassing!"

Then I picked up the £2.20 Hand Food, presented this with the voucher to the SA (on photos) and it wouldn't go through. So she read it a few times, and then said "I'll have to over-ride this" which she did.

Then when I went to the next till, far away, (young lad, looking bored, picking his spots) I said "I've bought this before but the SA had to over-ride the till, cos it wouldn't go through" and the SA said "Ker". Only he just pronounced the beginning of the letter K!!

Then the third time I went to photos in the other branch, and went through the same rigmarole. HTH

so you printed quite a few copies??

AFAIK you have a right to a refund after the 28 days if the goods are faulty, which they are. Do you have your invoice from dot com so she can refund the price you paid for them instead of only giving you the 75% off price?

If you look at your order history on .com you should be able to print out the order you made there with the prices on it and take that along with the delivery invoice.

You should be able to go online to your order history info and print an invoice of that order which shows the prices. :)
  • When the SA scans the barcode on your invoice she should be able to see all the details on the screen, prices or whatnot :D

Has anyone tried the Revitalising Hand Saviour from the No7 Body Beautiful range? Is it any good (and does it smell like the body wash and bath soak - I love the smell of those)? As it's getting colder, my hands are quite dull and dry so I'm looking for something to perk them up a bit.

Alternatively, does anyone have any other suggestions for a good, reasonably inexpensive hand cream/treatment?

Have a look for Clarins hand cream (sometimes you can get travel sizes), it's fairly expensive, but if you can get it on offer it's well worth the money. I have really bad hands (eczema - I had no fingerprints for ever a year...) due to a latex allergy and having to wear gloves in the lab... and this is the only thing other than actual medicine which helps...
