If you're looking for a good hand cream, and not wanting anything fragranced, the lady in the pharmacy of my local Boots suggested Aqueous cream is better than pretty much anything. She told me she keeps a tub in her bathroom to apply to her feet before bed when they get dry.
I recently got really bad dermatitis on my hands, and as well as steroid cream my doctor recommended plastering my hands in Aqueous cream or E45 hourly to moisturise them, and also to use it instead of soap when washing my hands, so it's highly recommended. My hands were looking heaps better within 3 days
The Aqueous cream can be bought from Boots pharmacy in huge 500g tubs pretty cheaply. I can't remember how much it was, but it was less than a fiver0 -

Nivea DNage body @ £1.25 ( didn't go through with wrinklie as body but thought good buy as rrp is £10.xx)
Also got a couple of Olay face washes with wrinklies 86p eachThey also had reduced Toni and guy shampoos @ £1.10 each ( only blonde ones) The clearance stand was getting further reduced when I was there, also had med body butters for £1.25.Let me know if you got any bargains:D
Thanks for that, you had more luck than me, I didn't get anything! Didn't get round to Boots till about 5pm and think most of the bargains must have gone by then. Only thing I considered getting was a ROC microdermabrasion set, reduced to £10 - but it looked a bit scarey as it's battery operated and I thought I'd end up filing off half my face or something stupid so I left it in case anyone else interested! Got some nice bargains from other shops though so not a wasted visit :T:heart: I have this theory that chocolate slows down the ageing process.... It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?0 -

Thanks for the tip about the S&G one, skibster - I'm not particularly looking for fragrance free, just something that doesn't smell really strong/horrible. I don't mind the smell of S&G though (I've actually just used some of my Righteous Butter on my hands cause they're really dry after baking), so I might have a look at that tomorrow. I wonder if I could try SandraScarlett's trick with the voucher (the "I've done this before, you'll have to put it through manually" one) - worth a try, I reckon.
Thanks to everyone else who suggested things - I have lots of ideas of what to look out for tomorrow (now watch me come home with 3 different hand creams lol).
Btw, does anyone have the link for the new version of the S&G voucher handy - I'm looking through past pages of the thread but can only find the original one. Thanks.
We used to be able to use the skincare vouchers on it, even though they were supposed to be for facial skincare, but then Mr B changed his mind.0 -
:rotfl: Where did it all go right
I thought they were offering me a Boots credit card! Not surprised I got some weird looks when I refused it, and not so weird ones when I gave any vouchers that dared to make their way into the carrier bag
, to the person behind me
I'm surprised that people on here didn't have natural bootsing instincts before they found this thread - I can remember being about 11 and getting a Botanics moisturiser free with a skincare voucher :rotfl:0 -

The nice assistant said they are still scanning at £2.92 but the lady that does all the reductions is in again on monday so be expecting some more reductions.
So if you live in Hudds and want to boost your points then keep an eye on the herbal.
****fires up google mapping to check the mileage from here to huddersfield**** :rolleyes:0 -
