Evening ladies how are you all, so many pages since i was last on 2 weeks ago.
I slipped one ice outside and broke my foot so havent been online as ive been in hospital and then bed recoving. Both me and bubs are doing fine now.
Just had a quick skim read through and feel i need to defend myself (i dont know why), it was me who mentioned buying 300+ bottles of HE to get enough points to buy a digital SLR camera.
But it was just a theory and i would NEVER have bought that many bottles purely cos i would never have used it, let alone have anywhere to put it all. I currently have 16 bottles in my cupboard and its all conditioner as i go through about 1 bottle a week and i prefer my brilliant brunette shampoo.
I only buy what i need anything else is a waste in my opinion.
I did however manage to get my camera for free from my mum as a cheer me up pressie whilst i was in hospital. No she didnt get it from boots cos it was a lot cheaper in jessops, lol. On the condition i do her wedding photo's for her.
But breaking my foot has kerbed my boots shopping as i was getting a bit obsessed, so i havent read to much into this thread as it will get me all fired up again when im unable to go due to being imobile at present.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -

I don't think people should feel that by buying a few dozen bottles of bargain shampoo, they are taking bread out of poor peoples' mouths !
*runs and hides again*
I am soooooooo sorry, but I re-read Shampoogate, and this post, Jelly Tots, had me weeping with laughter! :rotfl:
I had visions of a Lionel Bart-type musical, a bit like Oliver, you know at the beginning where there are dozens of raggedy little boys, clutching their bowls and singing about "gruel" which then leads into the fabulous song "Food Glorious Food"?
Well I visualised dozens of women, and a fair few men, clutching their bags lining up outside Boots The Soup Kitchen (for the cosmetically deprived! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: ) singing .........................
Got no time for pleasantries, where's our Herbal Essences?
Tablets for the constipated, get our coupons validated
Mr Boots he has contrived, bargains for the Poor Deprived
We have come from near and far, some on foot and some by car
Anything left on the shelves? We must strive to "feed" ourselves
Get our points all added on, grab the goods before they're gone
Look! She's taking S & G!! Hasn't left a thing for me
Really, I don't mean to moan but Shampoo Shirl's been on the phone!
Quick! Before the SAs see me, Oh My God there's Pouting Mimi!
Watch him cos he has been known to take Two Meal Deals for his own!
Looks around in great despair - all is gone, there's nothing there
Spots a Bootser who is known, to shop with friend, but she's alone
Hat pulled down right to her nose, wide fit shoes, supporting hose
The crowd all nods, no need to guess, without a doubt, it's Sandra S!
The crowd goes quiet. They listen hard. She takes out her Advantage Card
She limps along. Her feet are sore. She's almost crossed the sparkling floor.
Then SS finds a young SA. What are the words that she will say?
She reads his name tag ..........
"Morning Ben! Excuse me, where's the Naked Men!" :eek:0 -

Oh sweetie! Sorry to hear you've been poorly. But I thought you'd been away cos you had got all your HE and had been barricaded in your house with it all surrounding you, and couldn't find the way out!
Get well soon.

You use HOW MUCH?! Lol! either you have heavy product build up or your hair is ankle length :rotfl: You really don't need to use that much- you could save yourself lots of cash by using a blob the size of a 50p per shoulder length hair, and 2x50p sizes if your hair is long (which I imagine it is) -too much product buildup can actually weaken your hair over time as it prevents the hair folicles producing as much natural oils, so it becomes drier and more brittle.0 -
