Hi All, I went to Derby yesterday and they had about six stands of reduced items, mainly at the end of the aisles. I managed to get...
3 P&P £5 off vouchers, 3 T&G and 3 Trevor sorbie points vouchers from the ACM.
Model me conditioner 3x73P used haircare voucher and paid 19p, voucher bleeped and the SA said you haven't purchased any T&G, to which I pointed out that the model me had tony and guy printed on it, so she manually added it.
olay thermal skin polisher x3 used 3 wrinklies so paid £2.34 each.
olay cream wash, used wrinklie so paid 86p
eyelash curlers reduced £1
boots compact mirror Reduced 47p
Santuary moisture mask reduced £2 says online £9.74
king of shaves women reduced £1.50
botanics mens body moisturizer reduced 60p
P&P lip care £8.56 used acm £5 voucher and 250 points voucher.
But my best bargain was simple anti-wrinkle firming cream regeneration plus reduced to £1.59 x 2 says online £12.71 each
they had lots of various stuff reduced some mostly oddments some no7, like i say about six stands, could not find any HE or reduced handwash, shower gels etc. But the bits I did get, I'm very pleased
I hope this helps anyone living near or deciding whether to visit the above store.0 -

Hi Sweeney,
I'm just back from Westfield, still lots of the simple cream on the clearance stand, plus hundreds of JK files at 30p each. A lot of stuff has gone since Thursday when I was there, but still lots of bargains to be had. They are obviously clearing out the stockroom I think, as they had croc-type beach shoes on one clearance stand that I hadn't seen earlier in the week. Still a lot of mega-reduced Model Me there too (that store is the cheapest I've seen it, even at clearance prices).
Nottingham Riverside now has a clearance stand, right at the back of the store near the photo kiosk. Not much on it right enough, but a few bits to buy with your £2 haircare vouchers. This store also had a lot of reduced SELs all over the place, but no actual product on the shelf above it (mostly bath/shower/handwash etc). The Naked starflower stuff has the reduced SEL, but no product, also.0 -

Decided to go to a Boots i'd never been to before today, 15 mile drive down motorway. Told the children I was taking them to garden centre with pirate ship (which was near said Boots) so everyone really excited. Off we tootled to garden centre first I sat in freeezing cold while they played (although was given free cup of tea!!:D).
Then very excited as we got to Boots, heart was racing as it does when I go to an unknown store, and.....it was blinkin closed, for refurb as well I think. So not only was I denied my Boots trip I probably missed out on loads of clearance bargains when they closed for the refurb.
Oh wellnow has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it0 -

Oh well
Snipped!
Oh dear how disappointing - which boots did you go to so as I know not to waste my time!!! Actually I only go to the ones in Bristol close to me as I don't drive so rely on buses or lifts!!!!
You don't expect a Boots store to be closed though do you, I bet you were wishing you had stayed home in the warm with your feet up and a hot drink!!
Hopefully if you go again they might have some good opening offers.0 -

Burnham on sea. I have started to get slightly obsessed with reading the boots store locator page to find all the boots within a 20 mile radius!! Going to work my way through them all slowly. Doubt if any of them will be any good, only seems to be the big city stores which have the goodies!!now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it0 -

Well Broadmead lately have been rubbish as they are having refurbishment there upstairs so short of space. They had a lovely clearance shelf before that! Eastgate are quite good and they had reduced SEL's rather than clearance so could use vouchers!! Cribbs was good but now they have all new stock and no bargains:eek:. Emerson Green is the worst store in the area for bargains!!! Kingswood is also an awful little store and Yate is really small and not much there.
Will be popping into Broadmead tomorrow so will let you know if anything worth having there!0 -
For the first time EVER, I found some reduced HE - 44p for the small conditioner for 'normal' hair :j This was in B'ham High St at 9.00 am yesterday
The SAs were out changing all the SELs round for the HE, so I had to keep walking past till they had finished. Still only the one sort reduced - I'm assuming Mr B is waiting till the end of the 100 pts offer to reduce the rest.
There were about 11 bottles - so I bought 2. Then decided that the cream blusher at the Clinique counter I had been coveting for ages was within my grasp (£17.xx) - so went back & bought 4 more bottles plus a new flavour one, as the curly hair one is brilliant and bought the blusher with my points.
I also bought some Soap & Glory face wipes - has anyone tried them ? They smell lovely, but wondered if anyone had had any experience with them.
B'ham High St did have some reasonable clearance stuff, but they ( and some others) are trying to sell the GWP from the mineral blusher / foundation for £6.50. I must admit I like the mirror and the bag is OK - but IMHO, they are not worth £6.50.[STRIKE]DFW Nerd number 729[/STRIKE]Debt Free & Proud0
