I just had a lovely trip to London Colney boots! I haven't seen the Olay GWP in there at all so I asked a lovely Manager chap who hadn't seen any but offered to look in the store room. He came and found me with one in his hand! Hooray. Bought the Difinity scrub and used my winky (blinky, whatever you're all calling them now!). Also got a no7 massager for £9.50 and free GWP (just wishing I had tried it last weekend when I still had a blinky!) No more reduced HE. They did have some Model Me Tony&Guy shampoos for 60p and protection spray for 70p in the clearance section. Christmas sale stuff was still going through at 75% (the lovely manager checked for me) so I left that.

    I shop there too! :j

    Hello. :hello:

The manager really is lovely there. A while back when I went in to get some nappies which as you know are upstairs and the staff were having a chat on the main floor. When I asked could I pay at this till I was told quite clearly No! And the SA told me to go downstairs as she was busy!!! Anyway, off I went back downstairs juggling nappies and a pram and bumped into the manager. Told him what had happened and he went marching upstairs, dragged the SA downstairs and told her to apologise to me and told her he would speak to her later. I've not seen her since. However, this is the only negative experience I've had there.

Went to Boots in Welwyn Garden City today. Not much there. Picked up the Girard set and got the 500 points. Also a reduced HE. Nothing else really.

I take it no one wants the vouchers I posted earlier so I'm chucking them out!

    Guys,

I have just had the best hour reading through these posts. I've had a really crap week but this has just cheered me up no end. I'm sorry for those who have got upset by it all but at the end of the day please try to remember thats its just shampoo:rotfl:

Who cares how many peeps buy and what their intentions are. If you missed out console yourself with the knowledge that there will be be a better glitch in the near future that you'll be able to take advantage of:D

For the record i managed to get 8 HE and 15 pantene while the offers were on and i don't particularly like either brand:eek: But thats bootsing for you, you get caught up in all the hype of a glitch and end up buying stuff you'd never normally look twice at:rolleyes: :rotfl:

Hiya- I'm new to bootsing here but have been reading this thread with great interest!:j
Just got back from Oxford street boots and about to head out to brent cross- got a kiosk voucher for 150 umberto g. haircare that needs to be used! Anyone know if you can use printed vouchers from one store to another?
I also got my no 7 gwp- highland mist(?) lippy- nice shade, a little too sparkly for me!
Hi, you can use then from a different store, even the total spend vouchers (I've done it!)
also check the acm in the Brent X, might have a different level total spend which you might be able to combine. Try the photo counter, the 2 men on there are great with lots of vouchers, just ask them to scan them and see if they will work. They even wait for me to dash around and get any bits I've forgotten if they are not too busy :T

edit - total spend vouchers have to be used on the sae day they are printed.

    Hello :hello:

The No7 SA is lovely and helpful too. I often go upstairs to pay when I am putting through GWP's etc and have found the babycare staff really nice.

Sandra I have tried them all (Courtesy of Mr B) and my final choice is the No7 Quick thinking 4 in 1 wipes. They do what they say on the tin. I also find one does the job, as apposed to 2 or 3 of the others. Well done on getting an invite letter from Boots too.:T :T Great for taking away on holiday too.

I'm using these too at the moment.
Accidentally spilt something on my Cream Leather sofa...grabbed the nearest thing to hand...4 in 1 wipe...sofa came up a treat!
Now when i've finished cleaning my face i clean the sofa bit by bit.

When the 4 in 1's (read wrinklies) run out...i'll be using Leather Wipes from the £shop on my mug instead :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Hi everyone :D

Just wondering if anyone knows if there's anything worth hunting for in Watford today?

    Many TIA :D
    Happy bootsing today all :j

    Hi SKMS,
might be too late for you if you've already gone, but on Weds Watford waterfields had no HE, no putting sets, lots of reduced T+G model me, a few reduced T+G copper shampoo (good for points from acm) a bit of reduced No.7 sun/skin care left. no clearance - but, the manager did tell me they were re-doing lots of sels and some were reduced, so there might be more?

    Watford Halequin
putting sets, but no reduced gillette, HE on clearance £1.45 + points, lots of EA on clearance. no reduced T+G/TS etc.

If I'm not too late, could you look and see if they have any of the Lee Staford sets @ 17.99 left please? thanks :D

edit: they moved everything around in the Harlequin - so you might have to search a bit for stuff!

It's a zip up case containing a golf putter with a handle that unscrews into three sections so as to fit in the case, two golf balls and a ...err, cup thingie that you put on the carpet or lawn to putt the balls into.

I got two at my local store when you could get one per purchase of any Gillette product. I have two kids and we go camping a lot and there's quite often crazy golf courses etc on the campsites. These sets will save me a few pennies in putter and ball hire fees.

Its an adult putter and accessories. They are a Gillette GWP - mine says on the outer wrapper "free when you buy any 2 mens Gillette products". I got mine with 2 cans of clearance price shave gel.

Oh it really is a golf putting set!!! lol Just with the way you all use abreviations etc I thought it was some code word for something amazing as I have seen it mentioned here quite a lot.
