  • Congratulations Polls, you must be feeling really chuffed! So pleased for you. And may we ask for how many years you have been a Glitches And All Bootser?

In fact, who was the first person on this thread who discovered the glitches? She should be crowned Miss Boots!! xx
  • Hi, had a great little shop today, got a Lee Staford Box of Tricks, includes vanity case (heat resistant) brush with very handy mirror attached, straighteners/ styler and hairdryer for £17.99 so pleased as have been contemplating new dryer as my old one is 9 yrs old and is giving of a strange burnt smell:eek:, it was fine until the dh started using it on ds2s curly locks:rolleyes:. So earned a wrinkly. Then bought meal deal with oasis bogof and creme egg no triple pack:o, plus bogof wipes johnsons which actually work out same as HB as they are £1.2x in there.

Also wanted to send prayers to all those battling cancer of whatever sorts, an appology also for when we say silly things cause we dont know what to say. Having worked with women with bc and having 2 close relies loose their fight with this awful disease i think it must be really hard to say or do the right thing, as fear can be very hard to face, especially the fear of losing someone you love. My nan had pancreatic cancer which was very painful and in the end it was so hard to see her suffering, she couldnt even speak to us, but i just use to hold her hand and reminise about the things we had enjoyed together, i was there when she died as was the rest of the family, at home and we prayed for her and i asked forgiveness for being a terrible grandaughter, which im so glad i had the opportunity to do. When at work i found it a lot easier to deal with ladies there, chatting about reconstructions, the fact that they had the boobs they allways wanted etc etc. Maybe its cause there is not as much emotional involvement etc, then again, i cannot stand to see people cry, have a very soft heart , so usually end up hugging my ladies :o.

Anyhow sorry about the ramble, going for my afternoon nap while the kids are sleeping, havent had the opportunity all week cause of the snow and my eldest and his friend being home:D
You laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt. (A.C)

a wrinklie is the voucher you get when you spend £5. It is in 2 parts, half is for £5 off premium skincare (L'oreal/olay/Roc etc) the other is £2 off premium haircare (Trevor Sorbie/Lee Stafford etc) there is lots of reduced sel hair stuff around at the moment so you might be able to get quite a lot for the haircare voucher. there are also acm points vouchers for TS and T+G (100/150) which, SA willing can be used.

I still use the paper boots vouchers (get them from surveys) It depends how old they are. Mine are £10 orangey/beige ones, so if yours are the same they should be OK. Give them a try anyway!

edit- check out this link for cheapish wrinklie items - thanks to fadedpages :T

Love, hugs and best wishes to all those who are having a tough time at the moment.

My sister used it last night, she thought it hadn't taken it off the total and the SA agreed with her and got the manager to do it manually but when she got back and studied her receipt it looked as if it took it straight off the price of the item without showing it was a £2 voucher so she got the discount twice! :T

I was just wondering whether you could have used the £2 haircare voucher when buying the Lee Stafford item?
