Also (sorry about all these questions), I belong to the instantly recognisable 1960s Eyebrow Club.It was the fashion then to pluck, pluck and pluck again, and most of the time my fringe covers my sparse arches, but if I push it back, I reveal the unattractive "plucked chicken" look.
If I've got loads of time, or I'm going somewhere special, I try using a combination of light and dark brown pencils, and do little tiny feathery strokes, like you're advised to in all the magazines. Then I forget and rub my forehead, and look like Coco the Clown!!! :rotfl:
What do other peeps recommend, or should I just pull my hat down hard so that it covers my eyes? In Summer as well?
xx

He He, I too am sporting the 'plucked till they don't grow back eyebrow club' look, 'cept I joined in the 1970's, and I also have a fringe to hide the damage:rotfl:
I had a friend who used to shave hers off with her brother's razor, then draw them back in with eyebrow pencil!!!
Oops, sorry for chat - will slap my own legs:rotfl::rotfl:

Hi, very fleeting visit to mr Bs today as weather is awful here.
No L'oreal mens sets - just the new boxed one at £14**.
HE - only 1 400ml bottle reduced to £2.20 - left it as not a great bargain there -
No putting sets
Girard sets - Girard Bali sunrise x9 on display £8.57, Girard Bouqet D'Orient £9.** 12 on display, Girard Lysval giftset £9.** 10 on display -
Purchased the Bali set used a 500pts voucher and sa did'nt blink an eye. Put it in a lovely big red glossy gift bag with black handles for me.
Lot's of the cheaper christmas crackers left - this must be the only store without any wrapping paper. Lots of reduced hair dyes, diffrent brands. King of shaves serum reduced to £1.22 - don't forgot to print off CPG voucher from first page.
Lots of reduced makeup on the counter and some reduced No7 lotions and potions but did'nt have time to look as the snow was comng down thick and fast.
They did have some Naked softening bath soak, starflower undressed for 93p, so I just grabbed 2 of these and used a wrinklie to get the olay facewash.

:(
I think they are still classed as the normal range - although there are skincare items in that range the skincare range is the one in white packaging rather than pink or blue.0 -
I wanted to get the No7 Travel Bag in the sale (I had this item in my basket for the 75% sale) but with the boots.com problems the sale was cancelled. I was originally told my boots.com to go into store and order, so I tried and was told the item was coming up as £12.50 but discontinued no stock. But when she looked online she said they could order from there but the price would be £48.94! (same item) but higher price (and not discontinued). Boots.com said they would NOT honor any prices because of the problems that had - does anyone know if they think the sale will appear online again? I wanted to order this bag to take on holiday. Thx
Well I just phoned up, because I've noticed my virtual basket is full of stuff at full price. But when I phoned 3 weeks ago, I was told it was all OOS!
The explanation I was given today (from Grimms Book of Fairy Tales), was that these aren't specifically Christmas items, and they might be bought by peeps at full price for Valentines Day!
Funny that, cos the explanation I was given 3 weeks ago, as to why it was still in my basket, but I was being told it was OOS, is that "we have to keep some spares in case people return faulty goods".
So I asked if it was worth keeping them in my basket in the hope that One Fine Day, they'll be reduced to 90% discount, or even 75% would be nice, and I was told "Not Really". Funny, I wasn't told "No".
So I'm going to keep them there with my new man - Justin Case! :rotfl:0 -
Have just spotted this on .com
soap and glory cleansing milk £5.86
classed as skincare, so with voucher would be £3.860 -
