EmmyLou, as I have only 1.5lbs off I am definitely not on track for the half-stone! But I have done my best, and who knows, I might lose another lb or two before Sunday's final weigh-in (I know Sunday is actually 1 March but I'm away to Edinburgh all weekend).

    Well done to you! :D

nickynoo, glad to hear you are keeping up the exercise, that is bound to offset the eating!!! :D Hooray for payday as well!

I went to the gym, just did the uphill walking as my legs were too stiff for running, burned 300 cals (just!) so I was pleased with that. Then I came back and got stuck into a chicken salad bap, mmmmmmmm. I told everyone at work (and OH) that I'm off sweets etc just so that I can't cheat anywhere!!! :rotfl:

  • hey all!!! Im in a better mood today - the half a pound that was put on the other day has gone along with another pound?! I did go for an hour long walk yesterday though with leg weighs and did 150 sit ups!!!

This means I have lost 5.8 lbs since the start of the challenge. I wonder if it is possible to loose another 1.2 lb in 3 days in time for the end of the challenge. im going to give it my best shot.!!

Is there going to be another challenge in march?

    xxx
  • ....... im also setting myself a new challenge- to stop biting my nails over the next couple of weeks. If I can i will be stopping a life time habit.

    hope you are all well

marmalade555 - there certainly will be another challenge in March, and every month till we all shift the weight! :T

Well done on the 1.5lb loss, you must be delighted and only 1.2lb to go to lose half a stone! Good luck with the nail biting thing, it's something I struggle with from time to time, esp when bored.

Today is going ok so far, I rang my mum to have a moan about not being able to eat sweets and she was very encouraging! :A I will get through it. I'm going for a walk after work to the beautician to get my bikini wax (ouch), she's about half an hour away.

Hi folks, I'm back from holiday and 3.5lb heavier! But that was after 3 weeks of all-inclusive with fabulous a la carte restaurants and drinking every night (and occasionally in the day time too )

They did have a gym but I didn't use it, despite my good intentions, and the indoor pool was flippin freezing, so I didn't use that either. But after the end of the first week I began to feel loads better and did a lot of walking, so that must have helped.

I'm wrecked after the travelling so I'm going to give myself a couple of days to recover, and then I am going to join my local gym. I am going to try and get as close to my feb start date as possible before the end of the month (which actually is only three days away.. oh dear....)

And YES FOLKS there will definitely be a March challenge!!!!

Tara747, I'm new to these boards and find it very difficult to find a post I've written when I want to go back to it later. I think if I try to find the CD thread ( which I did put in the search bar and it came up with this one ) I'll lose this one. Can you tell me how to do it please?

Church mouse, if you click on user cp on the green bar at the top of the page, and then 'all subscribed threads' it will bring up all the threads that you have posted on. The ones that are the most active will be at the top of the list.

    Hope this helps x
