Well didn't get on the walk as I spent a bit longer in the garden than I thought I would :rotfl: . I have been digging and weeding all afternoon!
Anyway came in and checked my emails and I have a job interview in 2 weeks for a job i've been wanting for about 3 years, each time its come up I haven't even got to the interview stage.
I'm off now to get dinner and have some pancakes, then do the Davina Dvd later tonight I think.

Evening all,
2nd day on celebrity slim has been better. Ditched the horrible breakfast bars and had a chocolate milkshake. they are really yummy. Soup at lunch was horrible again but I just held my nose and down in one. For tea I had chicken in sweet chili sauce and some 'bread sticks' made from cauliflower from one of the recipes I posted earlier on in this thread. they were amazing! I'm going to make a pizza out of that base later on this week as it was sooo nice. Something to look forward to at night after my horrible CS milkshakes and soups.
Done an hour of Davina's super fit dvd tonight too, can't move now after doing that for 2 days running so it must be working. Can't wait for weigh in day Saturday, feel like i've lost loads alreadyBest Wins * wag for a day = £1500 selfridges vouchers * 4 VIP V Festival tickets * Flights to New York * £1000 *

Tara, I pay £55 a month and can go to the spa as often as I want, I normally get 10% off all treatments but this time had some already discounted treatments so I saved myself £23. The spa only has a thermal suite and small swimming pool with treatment rooms upstairs (its a very eco friendly place, in a converted cowshed and heated by woodchip). I could easily live in that place. I try and go once a week and quite enjoy sweating it out in the sauna and lolling in the jacuzzi or outdoor hot tub. Its my treat because I don't smoke or drink and it is a lot healthier.:D
Dinner tonight was a pizza (a cheapo Lidl one with very little cheese on it - still it was edible).
Tomorrow will be a drag as I am off to the eye hospital so I probably won't have time for breakfast and it will be nearer tea time by the time I escape:rolleyes:0 -
Evening all!
littleemmie, that's good that you have stayed the same, phew!! The walking must have helped.
Charlie, gardening is SUCH good exercise! Congrats on the interview letter by the way, let us know how it goes.
aytch - LOL! Are you a teacher then? The kids will definitely keep you on the straight and narrow!
gemsy - glad to hear that Day 2 of CS is going better. Can you post that cauliflower link again? Thanks.Well done the exercise, I'm sure you feel great!
Horace - lucky you ! I think I would be at that spa every single day! :rotfl: Good luck tomorrow at the hospital xo
Well, I have been eating quite a bit of chocolate today as I won't have ANY for 6 whole weeks! Forgot say - I weighed in this evening at 60.7kg, which is 0.8 kg (or almost 2lbs) lighter than 1 Feb! Prolly just some quirk or mistake but it has given me an enormous mental boost and made me think that maybe I will actually end the month lighter than I started (despite no progress to date!). I went for an hour's walk earlier so that's 2.5 hours walking today, and I am still feeling the ache from yesterday's LBT class.

Tara, good luck with the giving up for lent - I know I should really too but I already feel as if I am giving up as I am trying to eat more healthily.
Well, it's weigh Wednesday and I have 1 3/4 lbs off this week. That's a total of 5 lbs :j - I wonder if I can get another 2 off by Saturday? Doubt it but am going to try.
Good luck all.0 -
Leothecat - I need to give up sugary stuff or I will never lose the weight! I keep telling myself it'll all be worth it in the end. Well done on the weight loss, 5lbs in 25 days is fantastic!! :j :j Keep at it xo
First day of Lent and no sweets and I am feeling positive so far!! Mind you, it is only 9am... :rotfl:
I weighed in this morning at 60.8kg... still 0.7kg off, or 1.5 lbs! I am pathetically pleased. :rotfl: Also, more importantly, I am feeling more toned. The trousers yesterday gave me such a boost, I am starting to see results and I like it! I still feel a little achy from Monday's LBT class but am going to go for a run at lunchtime. If I feel too sore I will change to the uphill walking but either way I am not stopping till I've burnt 300 cals! :T I'm enjoying my daily boiled egg for brekkie too.
Good luck today everyone!Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

I started the Cambridge diet yesterday and stuck to it, only drinking water and rooibosh tea with lemon. One of the soups I bought I discovered was a week out of date but I didn't think it would matter so I drank it last night. About an hour later I had diarrhoea which also affected me during the night. I am lactose intolerant and have bought some of the lactose free drinks ( my counsellor didn't have many ) but I take lactase tablets which mean I can absorb the lactose and should be ok. Has anyone else found this kind of problem? I also have a headache this morning even though I drank plenty of water. I can't get in touch with my counsellor until this evening - any advice please?0

Church mouse, that all sounds very scary! I have no idea since I don't know much about CD but I'm sure someone will be along soon who does. I think there's a CD thread here somewhere too if you want to ask over there, HTH.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Tara747, I'm new to these boards and find it very difficult to find a post I've written when I want to go back to it later. I think if I try to find the CD thread ( which I did put in the search bar and it came up with this one ) I'll lose this one. Can you tell me how to do it please?0
