Thank you so much to Tara747 for sending me over here. Would love to join you all.
Would be great if I only had half a stone to lose but I have more like three  Will take it half a stone at a time though
Would really love to see anyone's meal plans and hear how you deal with cravings?
Thanks0 -

Hi Steph
Please, please don't be offended but I was a size eight last year and it really didn't look good. Although I liked the feel of it everyone thought I was ill and was really worried about meYou could see all my bones etc. Might sound good to some but trust me I don't think it was good for me.
As a result I had to put on a bit of weight but because I was eating so little it all piled on really quickly ... hence the reason I am here. I am determind to be sensible this time though.0 -
Hello!!! Well this weekend was a bit of a write off!! Sterted out really well with an hour and a half of gardening on Saturday morning (I am in a lot of pain now though!), missed breakfast on Saturday (not intentional, I just wsn't hungry) and then had burger and chips for lunch. My OH got home at 4.30pm and the evening went down hill from there really. We ended up not getting any dinner and went into town and got very drunk instead so by the time I got home at midnight I didn't think I was hungry (because I was soooooo drunk) and didn't have any tea. Major hangover yesterday so I spent all day eating! Hmm a few mistakes along the way methinks!!
I feel very guilty about all the empty calories in the wine and also for not eating properly but I feel more bad about all the money we ended up spending, I have been so good with food and money all week and then blew it all at the weekend. I spent all day yesterday beating myself up about it!
I wouldn't mind but my OH and I never do stuff like that normally (and it was all my idea!)! Oh well never mind eh, back to being good today!
I hope that some of you had more success this weekend than I have!!
Ramble over now!!0 -

lbt, what did you weigh to begin with? I have put on around 1.5 stone, I was a size 8, now a 12. But I looked and felt fantastic when I was size 8 and am aiming to get back there. I'm only 160cm tall though so being a size 8 doesn't make me look ill. Being size 12 makes me look huge tho!!Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

spuddy1 and Leothecat, never mind about the weekend eh!! Good to see that you have a positive attitude about it all and are looking forward with optimism. And at least you both had fun doing it!!
I did snack last night, ate about 15 wine gums, felt ill afterwards! But it could have been worse, OH was trying to tempt me with biscuits and I refused!
Today I am going to do an hour's walking and a session at the gym, and hopefully some resistance exercises later. I am also going to eat properly. Yeah!Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Morning all!!
Just a quick check in from me - I'll be back to reply to everyone properly later!(those pesky bosses are actually making me do some work?!)
The weekend was pretty bad for me! Friday night I caved and ordered in a chinese (chicken curry - which actually I only ate half of because my appetite has totally shrunk - but there was probably still a gazillion calories in that!).
Saturday, Banana for brekkie, out for lunch (and ate a Tuna melt on a white ciabatta  ) - only had a slice of toast then at night because I wasn't hungry!
Yesterday, I did well all day until I had a choccie biscuit, and a low fat smoothie ice lolly thing before bed!
As for exercise - I went swimming yesterday, and only did 20 lengths - since the pool was closing. But that was it, as Saturday and Sunday was totally taken up by shopping - although that did involve a fair bit of walking!! (Saturday, we finally got our bridesmaid dresses - Whoo hoo!!And Sunday, I think I bought 1 of everything they sell in primark - I've never been in before - what a fab shop!!!).
I didn't have time to weigh in this morning, but I'll do my final weigh of the month tomorrow morning, since I'm off to Egypt early Wed morning!
I'm actually considering having a colonic irrigation at some point before I go - has anyone ever had one?
My thinking being, that it'll clear me out of any junk, then I can make sure I eat reasonably well while I'm away, plus do lots of swimming, so that if nothing else, I hopefully won't put any weight on while I'm away!
Anyway - back later to catch up properly - have a good day everyone!!

Morning all on this bright and reezy brummy monday!!
Strictly was good but not as good as i wanted it to be! Everyone looked soooo tiny on the dance floor and even skinnier than they do on tv! Cheryl Lunghi has abody to die for - i kept checking out her buttand wishing it was mine lol! Best bit was Julian Clary - his dancing and jokes were hilarious and had the crowd in stitches:rotfl: Worst part was the amount of food i scoffed yesterday - Jp with cheese & beans, strawberry cornetto, biscuits, chicken & chips for dinner! Oh, well another week, another healthier eating pledge
Right peeps - we have less than a week to go so let's all kick !!! this week!
Newbies - welcome and hope you all lose weight with us! Although tbh, i'm not losing much weight - but at least i'm not putting any on and generally eating better than i used to!
Leo - Every day is a new day so lets take it one day at a time. Just try to eat better the day after you've had bad day - does that make sense??
Tara - have you thought about doing a walk for charity? You're so motivated and good with your walking - i'm sure you'd raise loads!
lbt - i have about 3 stone to lose as well - although ideally closer to 4 stone according to my ideal BMI! Was hoping 7lbs at a time was an easier way of doing it so lets keep at it! I saw another fat photo on my digital camera yesterday only taken in October - can't believe the size of me  and how it all crept on while i was too busy eating!
aytch - packed lunches will definately help. Have you tried tuna salads, low fat pasta packets or if you have a toaster at work, you can get toastabags so you can make a quick toasted sandwich - use wholemeal bread and a bit of cheese with your fillings and a nice lunch!
I've done ten minutes on the orbitrek this morning and am hoping to go swimming at lunchtime - ladies session is on today so should be quiet. Phoned my local pool and they have said it's quiet between 12.30 - 1.30 so may try to get there whenever i can on a weekday for a couple of weeks and see if it makes a difference. However, cost and childcare always make it difficult.
I'm in need of a real visible boost - need to see me getting slimmer, so i know i need to put the work in!
Lets all have a good week guys :j0 -
Morning all, I'm still loaded with cold and all I want to do is curl up in my bed and sleep for a week. I got a shock when I weighed myself this morning - I've put on 2 lbs    I want to cry! I was sure I'd been really good, because I've been ill I haven't wanted to eat any rubbish. But I've done next to no exercise which I'm sure is the reason I've gained. I walked to and from town this morning and bought some healthy snacks so its a good start to the week.
If I can lose the extra 2 lbs I put on this week I'll be happy (ish)All the coffee in Columbia won't make me a morning person...

Crapwithmoney - My OH had a series of colonic irrigations last year, and said it was a very bizarre feeling having it done but he felt tons better afterwards. He had probs with bloating (caused by him shovelling food in so fast it doesn't touch the sides!!) and it worked for a few weeks, he looked brill but he's sadly gone back to his old ways.
I had my own form of colonic irrigation when I went to Egypt on my hols, caused by eating way too much fruit which had been washed that I hadn't peeled. Ended up losing half a stone and spending my last week on the loo, very memorable holiday for all the wrong reasons :rotfl:All the coffee in Columbia won't make me a morning person...
