nickynoo, how do you deal with the sugar cravings? I am giving in to them nearly every single time at the mo and feeling so miserable afterwards...
Hiya tara at the moment i'm not doing too well myself with sugar cravings:o, usually i find if i have a little of what i fancy i dont tend need or crave it anymore but at the moment that aint the case. Latley i've been having mini bags of haribo - think they are about 70cals a bag but i suck them to make them last.
Had a house full of kids today which hasnt really helped with my healthy eating as they all wanted sweets, crisps and loadsa lovely treats and i kinda gave in and joined em. But on the other hand i was running round like a loon with the kids so i must of burnt a fair few cals i reckon. Anyhoo i'm working tomoro and i always eat better on days i work coz i take a healthy pack up of lunch and no money so i have no choice:p , i'll be walking there and back too.£387.39/£196.46

Started my day with coffee and a few grapes. Rushed around the house like a mad thing and then went to the recycling bin up the road to deposit my newspapers and cardboard, then walked to the corner shop to buy another newspaper:rolleyes: It was such a lovely day I walked up the hill to the village (really its a town but my grandma always called it the village), walked to the far end to look in a charity shop for a mate then nipped into Wilkos to get some bathroom sink unblocker, then walked home past the cake shop:rolleyes: The smell of pineapple creams came wafting out so I went in and found that the last one had been sold so I came out with two bacon savouries and a chocolate eclair (it was supposed to be a cream donut but she picked up the wrong cake:rolleyes: ). Had a good walk back, have been having a clear out of my wardrobe and clothes box so now the local charity shop will have a load of new clothes to sell.
Something wrong with my body again - am now craving orange lucozade (am now on my second bottle:eek: ) and have been eating grapes. Don't feel hungry enough for savoury food:rolleyes:
Have been trying to cut back on the cake and chocolate cravings - I have been really good, the chocolate turron that was bought for me last Saturday was finished off today, normally it would be wolfed the same day:j0 -
Well done Horace for keeping those pesky choclate cravings at bay!
NickyNoo - I had 5 kids at mine as well yesterday... gave them lots of grapes, strawberries, high school musical frubes and milkshakes so not tooo bad - and they all were happy enough eating them. Usually i would have given them all crisps and chocolates, but have really tried to cut down on having them in the house...... the kids and the junk lol!
Leo - at least you started the day off well, good intentions and all that! Did you get to go on your run? I've been really bad and done no excercise since Friday....or was it thursday??
Dragon, well done on the loss - definately going the right way hun!
I had a really bad day yesterday - started with cookies in the morning, had lots of little kinder chololate egg things that i found in the drawer and had carbs for dinner. Was really wanting to be naughty yesterday and have a bad day, so once i had the cookies in the morning i knew it was gonna be all downhill! Swimming pool was full - i go to ladies only sessions and they get packed out unless you get there really early.
Am gonna try to leave my DD with someone tomorrow and go the lunchtime ladies swimming and then do my bestest to get to local womens netball/badminton at the local school on wednesdays. Need to sort babysitting for my DD and will try to get my sister to come with me, so we get a good run around and have a laugh!
Going to Strictly Come Dancing TODAY!!!! Looking forwad to it... but don't know what i'm gonna wear yet..... no way i'm gonna fit nto the dress i wanted to wear...
have a good day all..... xx0 -
Aww you lucky ducky!!! Enjoy Strictly - I would love to be going.
Well, finished off my crap day yesterday by eating 2 packs of Quavers and a full pack of Jaffa Cakes!! So yet another write off - I'm going to have to wise up or live with the consequences.
Hope the rest of you do better.0 -
Hello all
Well, have just returned from my holidays and uploaded the pictures of last week onto my computer and that has done it for me - I look like the back end of a bus and need to do something.
Its not just the weight (and I am the heaviest I have ever been by a stone) but my health is suffering, uncomfortable, cant walk far, tired, fed up, breathless - boy do I need a lifestyle change!
So, help, can I join you all, and can someone give me some advice especially re packed lunches, I do get fed up of slim cup a soups and sandwiches that don't fill me up!
Am even going to put my weight in my sig ....:eek:DEBT FREE since 2011

Hello all, just popping in quickly to say hello!!!! Well done to you all, I know the weekend is playing havoc with our plans but we are struggling on regardless!
I have had a very mixed weekend! Yesterday OH suggested going to the zoo, we brought a picnic and pigged out so it was a bad food day, but I walked for more than 2 hours so that offset it a little.
Today I have had just two meals - lean bacon and toast for breakfast/brunch and veg stew for dinner - and walked for almost two hours as well. So overall not too bad! I could have happily stayed on the sofa all day today but I made a commitment on this thread on Friday and wanted to stick to it, so I hauled my bum out the door and am so glad I did.
Now for the rest of the evening! I can't promise that I won't snack between now and bed, but hopefully not.
plzhelpmesave, enjoy Strictly!Let us know how it goes.

Hi all,
Another wick day food wise!!! !!!!!! when will I learn?
Brekkie was porridge with skimmed milk, brunch was 2 croissants & scrambled egg & 2 veggie sausages. Out for dinner for DS birthday - rib eye steak, brocolli and sweet potato chips.
No excercise today at all - feeling totally knackered.
No I spend the whole night hating myself and my disgusting body! :mad:0
