  • Hello :hello:
Haven't been on for a few days now ... OH came home on wednesday and so far we've been quite good with food. I did 50 mins exercise yesterday too :D He has taken me for lunch but I managed to choose a salad and resisted a pudding! He's cooking me a meal tonight and I've told him not to give me a man size portion cos if its on my plate I have to eat it all! Going to friends for a poker night tomorrow so I made some truffles and toffee marshmallow cakes as asked ... was sooo hard not to eat the mixture hehe. Going to try and be good tomorrow night and not pig out on crisps and cakes! I hope everyone has a great weekend for the final push in february, we can do it!!

Thanks for the encouragement sarah! I am so determined to do well this weekend:

    2 hours walking both days
only 100 cals of snack rubbish allowed each day
    smaller portions
limited alcohol and sugar free mixers

That should do it! Let's have a good weekend!!

Enjoy being with your OH, can happiness burn calories??? :D

Not sure if happiness can burn calories but 'Sarah, where did you put my ...?' and then running all over the house to find it a millions times a day does! Hehe, silly man. Just hope I can stay strong this month he is home and not let him tempt me with a pizza!

  • Hi everyone

I haven't been posting but I've still been reading. I haven't been doing so well food-wise, its as if my body knows I'm trying to lose weight - I can't seem to get full!! Plus I haven't been feeling so fabulous this past week, my flu has come back with a vengeance  and I'm feeling so lousy and rubbishy in general. The only exercise I've really had is walking the dog this week but I guess its better than nothing.

If I can lose another lb this week, I'll be happy....I thought this half stone thing was gonna be sooo easy and now I'm not even sure if I'm on track for the end of the month. I'm gonna give it one last push for the final week and pray for a miracle!! :rotfl:

Have a happy and healthy weekend all!!

sarah - a plan is all it is! I ate a smallish portion at dinner but am now craving sweets!! Aahhhhhhhhhhh! Don't let that man tempt you with any junk! :rotfl:

coffeeholic - don't worry, if you're sick you need to take care of yourself. At least you're in the 'losing weight' camp, I'm in the 'not shifting an ounce' camp, really I'm just here to make everyone else feel better!!! :o

    Charlie1986 - what's up chuck??? xoxo :A

Right, I'm seriously going to ask OH to kill me if I snack...

What a shame Charlie!!!! Look on the bright side, at least you only have to see the horrible boss for 12 hours!!! Sorry, that was a pathetic attempt at cheering you up.

I have written off today, just had too much to eat and only an hour's walking. Dear oh dear.
