  • aaaah i think ive solved the why i only lost 3/4 of a lb when I totally knew i deserved more. Aunt flow showed up today, problem solved lol. So Monday I am expecting at least a 2lb loss to make up for the lack of loss this week.

    Wow well done poshstock!

Sarah im a Davina DVD fan too :) I have 2 of hers and 4 other ones yet I always end up doing Davinas cardio box because its fun and she keeps me motivated :D
  • Poshstack - that's fantastic!!! half a stone in 2 weeks is amazing girl!! lets hope some of your losses rub off on everyone... especially the wedding gang!

Sarah - well done on losing 1lb...we'll get there! Shall we aim to double our loss next week??

Excercisewise i've done 25 mins on the mini stepper - i do need to buy some batteries though coz i don't know how many calories i've burnt!!

Had porridge for brekkie and having soup and 1 slice wholemeal bread for lunch in 5 minutes. Dinner is fish, rice and veg today , just marinated the fish, Followed by fruit for desert. Trying to knock out my late night cup of tea, as some sort of snack usually sneaks in with the cuppa, so instead i'm cutting up loads of fruit after dinner and we'll all eat that together.

Anyone watch Supersize V Superskinny? channel 4 tonite at 8pm - love it! And, plan is to keep stepping away while watching it. Have a good day everyone... is it really 10th Feb already?? only 18 days and 6lbs to go til the end of the month ....
  • LilMissEmmyLou - I have davina's high energy 5 and love the boxing bit too :D I have Charlie Brooks' and Natalie Cassidy's dvds and probably do them more often as they work up more of a sweat I think.
Plzhelpmesave - Deal. I'm sure we can both lose 2lbs next week! Especially if you carry on your stepping routine and I do my dvds more often. Good luck!

  • Well I really feel like i'm doing rubbish, I just can't seem to get into it :( The weather is rubbish and freezing cold so I haven't been able to get out. I really want to go swimming but I daren't :o.
I have done loads of hoovering today and running up and down the stairs if that counts :rotfl:
Well done to everyone who has lost weight :T

  • Charlie, don't worry, we all have days like that. Try to think of what you are aiming for, why you want to lose weight. That usually helps motivate me ... I don't want to be a bridezilla on my wedding day. :rotfl:Or try and reward yourself ... think if I do 30mins exercise/eat no chocolate today then I can treat myself to a nice soak in the bath, or whatever you like except food!
The good news is climbing stairs for 15mins burns around 140-170 calories, it all adds up!

I went to the gym, I’m so pleased with myself. I managed to stay on the treadmill till I burned 300 cals, it was hard going though! But I do feel better. :) I’ll do some stretching and lunges later, and I will also have walked 2 hours in total today as I’m going to a friend’s house for dinner (I have requested something healthy, she knows I am trying to lose weight so fingers crossed!! :D ).

Today I’ve eaten an Activia yog, an apple, about 8 oatcakes and I had some tinned salmon on a slice of Burgen bread for lunch. MMM.

Today is going well so far, the sun is shining and I just feel better! :D

Well done on the exercise, plzhelpmesave! You are doing great.

LilMissEmmyLou, told you there would be a good reason for your ¾ lb loss! :rotfl:

And Charlie1986, I agree with sarah – don’t beat yourself up. My motivation is up and down like a yoyo but it always comes back!!!

p.s. what's happened to my font???
