I've really lost the inclination today, I'm not sure what it is. I can't be bothered to do any exercise at all. I think I'm still gutted from this weeks weigh in. I'd been really strict all week and only lost 0.5lbs
I'm really tempted to start celebrity slim, it's all the cooking i'm fed up with. It's the price that puts me off, £32 for one week and then you still need to cook evening meals  :eek:Best Wins * wag for a day = £1500 selfridges vouchers * 4 VIP V Festival tickets * Flights to New York * £1000 *

Well done on being so organised coffeeholic, not to mention the Davina DVD!!! :T
gemsy, I know what you mean, I can't be bothered to exercise sometimes either, but it used to be a way of life for me and I enjoyed it (honest!), so I'm looking forward to feeling that way again. No idea what CS involves, is it like Slimfast? I see there is a CS thread here, maybe ask around in there. Mind you, £32 a week without dinners is very expensive!!
Re the cooking. Are you used to cooking or have you been making extra effort and taking longer lately? Shame about the 0.5lbs, but just think - next week could be much more!! Don't give up, at least you are going in the right direction unlike me.

gemsy - if you plan to go down that route (personally I wouldn't but whatever works for you!), then I would be more inclined to go for Slimfast or Boots own variety - cheaper and you can get offers on them in places like Tesco and .... um ... well .... Boots! :rotfl:
Boots currently has a 3 for 2 offer on Slimfast - and I think you can get some of them cheaper still on the Boots health clubDo not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

I've had my beef stir fry, it was very nice and I am still feeling full. But I'm peckish! I think I'm just bored, I need something to distract me...Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Tara - It's both really, I'm cooking a lot more and making more effort. I've been cooking everything for me and my boyfriend to help keep him on the straight and narrow too. We both too easily reach for the takeaway menu's and that's how we've ended up needing to lose weight.
I've just bought Davina's new workout DVD, the only problem is that my boyfriend doesn't have any curtains in his front room! I've made it our mission that we're going to get some fitted this week. There is no way i'm doing that with all the neighbours watching!
I might get a couple of the celebrity slim pouches tomorrow just to try it and see what I think. I think i'm just paranoid about my calorie intake and this way I can ensure its really restricted.Best Wins * wag for a day = £1500 selfridges vouchers * 4 VIP V Festival tickets * Flights to New York * £1000 *

Tara - here u go hun http://www.nhs.uk/Change4Life There's loads in there, although it is very family based, i.e. those with kids.
Sarah - only about 18 hours to go before we weigh in  Oh, and u must have jinxed me as didn't do my Wii fit this evening as planned!! Instead i lay on the sofa with my baby and we watched Goldenballs and Perfect Recall - oooops!
Gemsy - Can you & OH take turns cooking or do it together as an "activity". Look out for easier recipes or shortcuts, e.g. steamed veg. I love those steamed veg packets- saves all the chopping and peeling so i stocked up at Farmfoods - they had 2 packs of the Birds Eye various veg for £1 - so 8 portions in total. You've already lost some weight so at least you know you're on the right track hun. If you do go slimfast, boots have a glitch where you can get some flavours of the ready made smoothies on a 342 and then half price as well - check out the boots thread!
Coffeeholic - Lets be good together this week! i'm due to start (cramps and backache have already started!) and am a total chocoholic for at least the first few days. Am stocking up on fresh fruit and low fat yoghuts so will only reach for those. Just think -one bad week ruins all the good work we've done all month! And, i'm stressed about losing my "excercise routine" so am determined to keep up with moving more as well this week.
Silaqui - SNAP!! had beans toastie (with some cheese!!), but used wholemeal bread and hidden veg beans so felt good when eating it!
Claire - well done you!! 3.5lbs in the first week is brill! Keep it up and you'll have lost a stone at the end of the month....!
check in tomorrow... g'nite xx0 -
Hi all, couldn't get into town today to weight myself cos of the weather, and am soooo dissapointed - i look forward to it - strange i know!!
Coffeeholic - i think i'm going through the same as you as it my TOTM next week, and i'm starting to feel really hungry, and just want to keep eating - have managed to stay healthy while snacking, but gave into 2 slices of (wholemeal) toast tonight, but that's not too bad, whoops!!
Will update my siggy 2moro with weightloss (please!!!!) if i managed to get the kids to school and get into town. xx:money::money::money::money:
I love to save money0 -
Morning all... just stepped off the scales and can report a massive 1lb loss!!
Can't believe how much work goes into losing 1lb!! I'e been feeling really proud of myself for actually sticking to some form of excercise every day, snacking so little and pretty much cutting out most of the rubbish (couple of blips, but you need those to keep going!) and still only a 1lb.... pahhh
BUT at least it is a loss and not a gain, AND it's got me motivated to lose more next week. And i'm also defintately looking a bit slimmer, so am gonna start measuring myself as well as weighing in weekly.
Bust - 106cm - approx 42inches
Biggest curve of my belly - 108cm - approx 43 inches
Hips - 111cm - approx 44 inches
Where's the rest of the bridal party?? Hope you've lost something too! xx0 -
Morning all!
plzhelpmesave!, well done on the 1lb loss, you are doing great!!! Thanks for the weblink too.
gemsy, let us know how you get on with the CS if you decide to try it.
poshstock, it's a pain that you haven't been able to get weighed, but just think - you might have lost even more by the time you do get to do it! :rotfl:
I weighed myself again this morning - weight is going downwards again which is good (61.8kg) but body fat went from 28.4% yesterday to 30.1% today!!My measurements havent changed either. Weird!!
I'm thinking of stepping up the gym visits, I might go today even though I hadn't planned to. Yesterday I didn't really do enough, so I want to make up for it and keep my momentum going. I didn't snack last night apart from 2 oatcakes, so I'm feeling better. At least I had a whole day of decent food!
Here's to a good day for all of us.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs
