Thanks Tara
I think this challenge is better for me because it is only every half a stone - I don't need to think about the fact that I actually need to lose 10 stone in total :eek:Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Well done to all those who have lost weight! For all those that haven't or are disappointed, don't worry! This is the start of a new week, it's still the first half of feb, so there's plenty of time to get back on track.:D
My weigh in day is tomorrow, not hoping for a big loss as haven't done as much exercise in the last week as I would have liked, would be happy with 1lb.

Hello
I'm back. Sorry, I have not been here since I signed up to the challenge. Been a bit crappy homewise and my laptop died so have only been able to log on to internet from work.
Anyway, am back on track now - new laptop set up at home and healthy eating / cut out crap plan has started today. Weighed in this morning @ 14s 2lbs
Holy cow - where did that creep on from? Isn't it awful that you don't even notice it until you suddenly see a photo of yourself!!
Need to get 2lb off this week to still try and acheive the 7lb off in Feb.
Good luck all - I will certainly need it.0 -

Ooops to the dead laptop and crappy life Leothecat! But well done you for brushing yourself off and starting over - don't try and push yourself too hard with the challenge though - see if you can lose 5 pounds as you missed out on the first weekDo not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Well done Dragon and Crapwithmoney...u know if you keep it up you'll get there and at least you'll have done it the right way so will keep it off!!
I'm staring to dread my weigh in tomorrow! TOTM very fast approaching any hour now.. and that must make your weight all over the place. Foodwise had my porridge for brekkie and a banana since... only coz i felt sorry for it - kids had beeneating the newer fruit and left this poor little nana to nearly rot!
I'm gonna try really hard to eat more fruit - i am really bad at getting my fruit intake, so will try to have fruit for any snacks/munchies.
Hubby being a real fat feeder at the moment! came down this morning and found the biscuit box full of bourbons, custard creams and chocolate digestives, as well as more crisps.... why oh why???? I have deliberately not been buying any more biccies and stuff as i don't want the kids to have them every day, sometimes is fine. He thinks they should always be in the house so kids - and him - can snack if they want to.. Methinks i need to have a few strong words with him.
Had the Change4life pack come through the other day - the one that's all over the tv and ads. its brilliant! Lods of little tips in there - again allthe stuff that we hear and read and should do, but don't! Lotsof real life examples too which is nice. There is a sticker chart with it so ive put it up by the diniing table so me and kids will fill it in each day, hopefully!
Worth getting it for anyone with kids - you can phone them or order online and fill out a questionnaire about your family and they will send you a personalised action plan ini 2-3 weeks directed at you and your family.
and in true MSE spirit - its all free!
Lets all have another good week. I've done my stepping this morning - 20 mins i think - and planning to do Wii fit for 30mins at least this evening, then stepper again before bedtime.0 -

I went to the gym, only managed to burn 150 cals on the treadmill so a bit disappointed! Maybe Monday is a bad gym day for me! Never mind, I'm glad I went and I did about 10 minutes of resistance and weights as well. My legs were just totally knackered. I did a lot of the arm and leg exercises from that Operation Transformation (hereafter known as OT) website on Friday and Saturday and was still a bit stiff. My legs felt like they were made of lead! I need to find out how long an interval to leave between different exercises.
There is a legs, bums and tums class on tonight at the local college, I am considering going but being MSE I am thinking that I would just do it in front of the computer with OT for free! What to do???
Foodwise today, I have had an Activia yog, a banana, an apple and about 6 oatcakes. A big improvement on the weekend!!! I had the banana and some oatcakes for lunch, was going to have soup and a roll but wasn't quite hungry enough, so they'll do for tomorrow. I am listening to my body from now on, and only eating what (and when) I need to. It's so easy to get used to fixed mealtimes and when I've bought stuff to have for a specific meal, I feel bad not having it if it's going to go off (the MSE effect!). But that sort of thinking is not good for mindful eating/weight loss. So I'm going to be more flexible.
** Edited to say: I don't imagine that I won't feel hungry again before hometime, if I do I'll have either the soup or the roll to keep me going till dinner.
Sorry for the loooong post!!! Welcome back Leothecat! I agree with Dragon, maybe challenge yourself to 5lbs this month. :AGet to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs
