crapwithmoney, that was a mega post!! :rotfl: Well done on yesterday! I am rubbish at press-ups too, can you show us after your SIL shows you? :D Good luck at the cinema, just avoid the food stalls altogether is my advice!! Take something healthy-ish to eat and a bottle of water and you will save £££s and not be tempted to eat junk!

My nurse pal didn't call round yesterday so I will have to wait another week to get my body fat measured professionally. Ah well! I'll assume the 28% is correct for now.

Daisy, enjoy Turkey you lucky thing!!!!!!!

  • Ha ha - yeah it was! Figured I was as well to cover everything in the one go! ;)

The problem with the cinema is that my boyfriend (who is super lean and could live on tea and biscuits without ever putting an ounce on), is insisting that we have a ben and jerry's sundae, since he noticed them for the first time the other week when we were there! So if he has one, it'll take all the willpower I have to say no - and am I really that strong?! ;)

    xx

Lazydaisy - I'm so jealous you're in Turkey!! How much do I wish I was seeking out the sun just now!! And I'm impressed you're still going to the gym etc when you're there!! :T

    xx

Hmmmm..... I said I had a look round - I didn't actually use any of the equipment - apart from the scales!

  • Ah well - they do say it's the thought that counts! ;)

I went to Turkey 2 summers ago, full of good intentions about using the gym, but when we got there it was about 35 degrees every day, and the gym had no air-con - those intentions didn't go far! :D

  • Littlemissemmylou - well done on the interview! :T And good luck on the weightloss! 7lbs is a lot on 2 weeks, but I'm sure if you're determined enough, you'll shift it no probs! :D And well done on the Davina, did you enjoy it?

I enjoy the feeling after exercise lol, not the process of exercising itself though lol. I am determined to do Davina every night for the next 2 weeks though on top of any walking. So for today ive done a 5 mile walk + will do Davina. Well done on avoiding the junk this week!!

SDH - glad the snow is having a positive effect :rotfl:

Tara - well done on the reduced body fat! and weight loss!!

Thanks, but I actually seem to have put weight ON. And I have had a bad day. Only 2.5 miles walked and a big lunchtime meeting, at which I ate too many sandwiches. :o

And OH just rang to say that he is cooking 'something special' this evening, which means something rich and calorific!! And a bottle of wine. It is so hard to lose weight in a relationship! I might do some more resistance exercises when I get home, just to feel a bit better.

How are the rest of you getting on? LazyDaisy, don't worry about gymming in Turkey, just have a nice time and get out and about plenty!

  • Charlie - (last - but defo not least!!) - well done!! :T :j  How much is that you've lost?

That's all i've lost so far, almost 1 lbs since last Sunday. This week has been a bad week though, i've not been able to go out much because of the snow and have been quite down due to work. Hopefully next week will be a bit better but i'm happy that the weight is at least going down and not the other way :o

  • Hello all, hope everyone's well!!!

Well done those who have lost weight, I'm resisting going on the scales until Sunday which will be one week since I started making an effort to lose weight! I've been picking at food all day today so I'm not holding out much hope :rotfl:

I'm all aches and pains today after doing Coleen McLoughlin's DVD that i dug out of the bottom of my wardrobe yesterday. I enjoyed it (if that's possible) and felt great afterwards but couldn't move this morning, I'm thinking a lovely bubble bath tonight while my OH is out boozing tonight should sort me out!!

I'm working all day Saturday, gonna make myself up a veggie box so I don't constantly pick at chocolate and biscuits. On Sunday we're off out for my fella's birthday - me, him and his parents. I'm going to try so hard to be good but if I have a little slip up, Monday is another week!!
All the coffee in Columbia won't make me a morning person... :D:p
