I was shocked that he gave me his number to be honest with you - I think he wants to chat about old times. Uhm am I still interested in him - not really, he made his bed and laid in it and to think that it has taken him 27 years to apologise for his behaviour:rolleyes: Sure it will be great to catch up but that's it.
I didnt go out today as planned but have to go out tomorrow to see my solicitor so I have booked two mystery shops whilst I am at it - one of them is in Pret so I shall have to find something healthy for lunch.
27 years!!! Bloody hell! Let us know how it goes if you meet up with him.
Pret do healthy options as far as I know, I'm sure you will be fine (and it's all free on the mystery shop).

OMG I have been so bad! Today I had doughnuts crisps and chocolate at work - somone brought it in and kept tempting me with it until I gave in. Why do people do that???? - I am soooo cross with myself for succumbing!! Once I have had sugar I crave it endlessly.....
Tomorrow I will only have fruit, salad and veg at work to get back on track. Also will go to the gym after work tomorrow, work the weekend is probably going to be cancelled due to the weather, if that is the case I will go to the gym Saturday and Sunday too.

I agree with Nanuq, don't be too hard on yourself. At least you have a plan for tomorrow and the weekend, you will be fine.
(((hugs)))

I've dug out skinny pics of myself and stuck them up to remind me what I'm working towards!!
This is a great ideal! I'm going to cut out some skinny bodies from a magazine and stick my head on them then put them on the fridge!!
Thanks for the great idea!
You're welcome. :A It is a good motivation for me.
p.s. gemsy62, welcome and of course you can join in! Well done on losing 10lbs so far, that is amazing!!! :TGet to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

well done all. I havent really done anything today - been a bit busy working unfortunately so no exercise games/dvds today. I didnt have very much tea but have had a couple of glasses of wine this evening so calorie wise I'm probably slightly over what I would like (though I'm rubbish at counting them anyway!)
Not done anymore Paul Mckennaing other than listening to a "do more exercise" hypnotherapy CD the other day - which was quite good but blatantly only lasts a short amount of time per listenThe early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0 -
Welcome gemsy - 10lbs is great! What have you been doing to lose that much in a month?Whatever it is keep it up hun!
Tara - Wii fit is really good! You have an animated trainer who shows you how to do certain moves, e.g. bosy stretches andyoga and then theres a whole loads of balance games to improve posture and balance, and aerobics games like jogging, stepping and hula looping to burn calories and fat. Tbh, i only do the balance and aerobics - not muchyoga or stuff YET!! You create your only mini character - a Mii - dead cutte!! Mine is all round with a fat butt - as it reflects your height and weight too, so your mii changes as your weight changes. It is really good and i'm sure if i did it every day like i planned to i would notice a difference quicker.
I did do 15 m ins on the mini stepper last nite - the last part of extreme makeover! I read something the other day about somone jumping onto their tradmill while watchng "the Biggest Loser" as the programme motivated them... so may try that. Kids are in bed so no excuse not to then.
And it's amazing how a bit of excercise actually does motivate you! I'm sure i look a bit more toned this morning than i did yesterday!!
Have a good day all xx0 -
Just weighed myself this morning and i'm 150.4 so i've lost a bit

Charlie1986, that's great!! :T Well done. Every little helps as they say.
jessicamb, don't feel bad about the wine, you had less food so that made up for it.
plzhelpmesave!, thanks for the Wii explanation, sounds like great fun!! I fancy the idea of having a mini mii. :rotfl:
I weighed myself last night and this morning - last night my weight was 62.2kg and body fat 31.0%, this morning my weight was 61.8kg and body fat was 28.0%! Amazing difference, and maybe it is to do with food in my stomach, etc affecting the evening reading. I will definitely be weighing in the morning from now on, just for consistency you understand.
A barking dog woke me up at about 7:20 this morning, so instead of lying in bed trying to get back to sleep just in time for the alarm, I came downstairs and did 40 minutes of resistance exercise and weights. I was watching a weight loss prog where a woman said that she did her weights etc in the morning so she was happy knowing that they were done, and it also motivated her to eat better as she didn't want to 'waste' all her hard work! I can sort of see what she means, and I do feel better after doing it. It is worth sacrificing half an hour in bed (ask me again after a week of it, lol!).
Anyway, here's to a good day for all of us.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Littlemissemmylou - well done on the interview! :T And good luck on the weightloss! 7lbs is a lot on 2 weeks, but I'm sure if you're determined enough, you'll shift it no probs!
And well done on the Davina, did you enjoy it?
Lazydaisy - I'm so jealous you're in Turkey!! How much do I wish I was seeking out the sun just now!! And I'm impressed you're still going to the gym etc when you're there!! :T
Plzhelpmesave - Thanks for the tip, I'll maybe have a wee look around and see what I can come up with! Oh - and I agree with Tara - GET THEM OUT THE BOXIf you're anything like me, you'll get at least a weeks use out of the novelty factor - and if you see it making a difference, it might just motivate you to keep going!! And well done on the ministepper!! :T :A I have one in the bottom of my wardrobe too - but I just have no motivation to do things like that if I'm left to my own devices - that's why I have to drag myself along to the gym!
Tara - We're roughly the same timewise then! Although, I'd never be able to run for that length of time without collapsing!I'm totally in awe of anyone who can run - one of these days I will get round to it myself!
And well done for getting up early, I'm really not a morning person, I never get out of bed even a second before I have to!
eireaine - I'm with nanuq and Tara - no point beating yourself up, we all need a wee blow out now and again, and today's a new day, so you get to start from scratch!
Gemsy - :hello: welcome to the thread! And well done on the 10lbs!! :T What have you been to lose that? Are you following a formal diet? Come on - share the tips!!
Charlie - (last - but defo not least!!) - well done!! :T :j  How much is that you've lost?
As for me, yesterday went well, I stuck to my diet all day, and made it to body attack! Although there were in one of the tracks I just couldn't get, and it turns out I dunno how to do press-ups to save myself! My sis-in-law is gonna show me over the weekend at some point!
I'm quite pleased with myself this Friday, I haven't had any rubbish at all this week, and haven't even felt tempted, the big test will be tonight at the cinema though! As for exercise, I've actually only managed 2 classes so far, but I've still time before Monday to fit a bit more in!!
Have a good Friday everyone - and roll on the weekend!!
(Phew - that was a marathon post - I hope I haven't missed anyone out!)
