Is this the first week you've been doing it Tara? (Ie watching what you're eating/going to the gym etc) I started officially on the 5th of Jan, but I would say it's only really this week that I've had the motivation to do it properly! Going cold turkey doesn't seem to work out so well for me, I need to set a start date, then change gradual things over the next few weeks, 'til 3/4 weeks down the line, where I'm usually then on board with the healthy eating - and wanting to exercise!!
xx
I've been on my new eating plan since about the second week of January and back to the gym since about mid-January. My motivation comes and goes, sometimes it's sky high and sometimes I just can't be bothered.
Re the chocolate, it is driving me a bit mad not having it today, I just need to recognise the craving and say no to it. Chocolate is just loaded with sugar and hydrogenated fat and junk, why would I crave that??And my body always feels better when I don't eat it. I really need to go cold turkey on the stuff for a while and then I won't want it.
Well done on your exercise plans, you are going to be so pleased with yourself after doing that lot!!! :TGet to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Hi guys.... anyone wanna shout at me?
Eaten 2 packs of crisps today and a handful of chocolate peanuts - and now the guilt kicks in and makes me thing, oh well, done it now so start again tomorrow. My head knwos what to do to get thinner... but i can't seem to make the rest of me follow along!
Kids are home today so they're the ones who got the crisps out.... oooh the little fat feeders! Been out in the snow to make our family snowman which was good and should have knocked a few calories - but other than than i'm doing so little excercise.
I have a mini stepper at home - been on it once bought it 2 weeks ago.
At the same time bought a Carl LEwis Vibro Plate - still in the box.
Have an Orbitrek - had it for 7 years and on average must have used it once a year! I have this thing that if i buy it and don't use it - it will still work on getting me thinner!
Been meaning to get the wii fit out for the past 3 days, but never seem to do it... help me guys!
I was running for about 25 minutes altogether, I really wanted to stop but just wouldn't give up till I reached 300 cals... big change from yesterday when my legs just would not co-operate and I was knackered after about 11 minutes! I had to take a rest and go back and run again, but could only manage another 4 minutes.
Your equipment sounds very interesting!! Where did you get the vibro plate and what does it do? One piece of advice: GET THEM ALL OUT OF THE BOX.And give them another go! I tell myself I only have to do something for 2 minutes and then I can stop if I want. Then I might want to do another 2, or 5, or 10... it might work for you, HTH.
p.s. definitely not going to shout at you about the food intake, I am just about to go and get something chocolatey (but hopefully only eat 1/3 of it).Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Horace - re your ex, why did he give you his number and are you still interested in him?
I was shocked that he gave me his number to be honest with you - I think he wants to chat about old times. Uhm am I still interested in him - not really, he made his bed and laid in it and to think that it has taken him 27 years to apologise for his behaviour:rolleyes: Sure it will be great to catch up but that's it.
I didnt go out today as planned but have to go out tomorrow to see my solicitor so I have booked two mystery shops whilst I am at it - one of them is in Pret so I shall have to find something healthy for lunch.0 -
OMG I have been so bad! Today I had doughnuts crisps and chocolate at work - somone brought it in and kept tempting me with it until I gave in. Why do people do that???? - I am soooo cross with myself for succumbing!! Once I have had sugar I crave it endlessly.....
Tomorrow I will only have fruit, salad and veg at work to get back on track. Also will go to the gym after work tomorrow, work the weekend is probably going to be cancelled due to the weather, if that is the case I will go to the gym Saturday and Sunday too.

I've dug out skinny pics of myself and stuck them up to remind me what I'm working towards!!
This is a great ideal! I'm going to cut out some skinny bodies from a magazine and stick my head on them then put them on the fridge!!

Aaw, poor you, it's such a pain when people make it so difficult! Still, tomorrow is another/new day, try not to be too hard on yourself, I bet if you added up the calories it wouldn't even come to half a pound!
Good luck tomorrow and over the weekend:A0
