Just back from Asda, and just wanted to let you all know that (in my store at least) they have a 500gram block of mature cheddar for only £2 at the moment....so i bought about 4 . I realised last night (i am a bit slow to catch on sometimes) that it doesn't take much effort to grate my own cheese and bag it up and freeze it/keep it in the fridge...so there isn't much point me buying pre-grated cheese. I usually pay about £1.99 for 200grams of grated cheese, but buying the cheese in blocks is so much more economical!
I also managed to buy the 2 for £1 bleach and fairy wash up liquid for mum today. Then i went back in and got some for my uncle as i have to buy all his cleaning products or he would never buy any, he's in his 70's and never married and isn't the most domesticated chap in the world :shudder:
I'm going to go and our a nice cuppa tea and come back and read what you are all up to today :-)Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200
NSD Challenge: October 0/140
