Sybil ow ow ow I had a perianal abscess a couple of years ago - I feel your pain (I won't tell you what happened as it is definitely TMI)
Coldstream, I hope your op goes well and you have a lovely weekend with OH - take care of yourself
JackieO - you made me giggle at your DD nagging at you to look after yourself, I do this to my mum and she does it to hers - luckily the cat can't nag me!!

Afternoon all.
((((HUGS)))) to all who want/need them, especially Tired mum. So sorry to hear about your little cat.
Good luck Bargainbird, will be waiting for good news from you!
Indeed, wishing luck and health to all who are under the weather/having medical or dental procedures in the near future.
Happy Birthday Aussielass.
Sunnygirl does your DD have a mobile phone? I have to take tablets twice daily, and have my phone set to squeak at me at 7:30 and 19:30 each day. Just a thought, it might help her remember her meds.
Mummysaver that’s dreadful about getting knocked off the road. I hope you’re as OK as your post sounds.
I’ve been trying to get on with my cross stitch light switch surrounds, but my paws just don’t want to co-operate. Oh well, I’ll get them finished eventually, I dare say.
Mr LW has turfed out some old clothes that are too tatty for the charity shop, so I might just see if I can make something useful with the good parts of the material. Just need some inspiration…..
Mr LW is on late shift today; he’s also due to meet a pal’s BIL who does furniture restoration, re getting our extremely scruffy but comfortable and sturdy kitchen chairs spruced up a bit. Luckily dins is the second half of yesterday’s Shepherd Spy, so it’ll just need to be nuked and eaten. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Noahs mum make sure that the physio at least writes a report just in case she cant make the meeting its very hard and you do feel like giving up with all the proffessionals who know your child better than you but keep on going I found ringing every day helped think they were glad to see the back of me (DS has ADHD)
Mummy saver glad you are ok after your bump
Sybill glad the cyst has popped i had one and the relief when it goes is amazing

Coldstreamalways - ((((HUGS)))) for you and the very best of luck for Tuesday x
Mummysaver - Good to hear that you and your friends are ok!
Well i braved MrA with Dad, it was really busy and i bought far more than i intended as i swooped on the offers, Kathloicos - i managed to get the 2 for 1 on the fairy liquid too and 2 punnets of blueberries for 37p each and a punnet of kiwi fruit for 37p too, the cheese and butter that was on offer had all gone but i got the cod fillets at 2 for £1 so i am very pleased.
There were a lot of people waiting for the cod and the nice lady assistant went into the delivery bay to get the last of it that had been unloaded, it lasted all of two minutes when she returned with i all.
Well the pizzas are finished and just need cooking in the remoska later, the blackberries and apples are waiting to be topped with crumble topping and i`m off for a hot shower, it`s really cold outside and the sky is a strange colour so maybe we are in for a storm, the houndies will get their walk after dinner so i do hope that it holds off until we get back.
Have a lovely evening peeps.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon

Hello all
have been studying all day again and feeling pretty grotty have a sore throat and am so tired thought it was from teaching 7 lessons yesterday and shouting at children all day as almost lost voice but must have a bug of some discription.
just put on a bolgense sauce with 500gms mince, 5 grated carrots, handful of oats, chopped green, yellow, red pepper (one each), chopped large onion and a chopped shallot, tin tomatoes, rinsed out end of bottle ketchup and added jar ragu, wok is full to brim so will leave that simmering for next hr or so and have spaghetti with that, will do 9 portions maybe more will freeze leftovers in 2 pots as each time we have it i do myself a lunch pot. sometimes when we have it next time ill add mushrooms or more onions ro freshen it up.
going to try and have a chill weekend but make a start on my 3,000 word conclusion not sure how i am going to have to do some serious waffling - which you can see from my post i am good at!!0 -
Good luck Bargainbird.
Happy Birthday Aussie.
Jackie, look after yourself and take care of your chest.
I've done nothing but sleep today, felt horrible this morning so had an extra slurp of Morphine and got up at 4 o'clock. Still a bit rough but tomorrow's another day so I'll cancel Friday.
Enjoy the evening.0 -
Very late but sincere birthday wishes to Aussie Lass:bdaycake:
Inspirational post Halight...your wonderfully positive attitude is something your twins will benefit greatly from through their formative years.
Good luck Bargain bird, hopefully baby has arrived by now.
Good luck Coldstream, do talk to OH as it helps to voice your fears.
Hugs to all in need or want
Having pork ribs with veg and rice to-night for dinner, my own recipe, which consists of throwing in a bit of this and a bit of that, probably couldn't repeat it but should be edible.
Brother had his house burgled last night, they ransacked it and took about €10000 worth of stuff, including some cash, he has a safe but they even got into that. Naturally he is devastated, will go down shortly and help him tidy up.
Have a good weekend all

((((hugs)))) to those feeling worried or ill.
Shocking about the burglary meanmarie. It is such a violation of a person's home.
Logged on here a bit earlier today than usual through the week. Tea is cooking - rice bubbling away and then I'm doing stirfry with a fillet of wild salmon. It's not the great tasting to be honest which is why I'm jazzing it up this time. It's the Youngs wild Alaskan salmon but wouldn't recommend it. Anyway, I have a bagful of them to get through.
I'm feeling quite tired now at the end of the week so plan an evening on the sofa with a blankie and a book. I've got a load of whites on in the WM and have looked out another load of my work clothes from this week so that will be me up to date. I changed my bed on Monday as I was instructed to on the flylady thread and it was lovely to go into a crisp fresh bed on a Monday night!
Hope everyone finds a way to enjoy their weekend
