Happy Birthday, Aussielass.
Good luck, Bargainbird!
I've had a busy day so far. Dropped the younger boys at school then off to the orthodontist with my eldest. He had his braces put on. The we went to buy some new school shoes for him. He went off to school and I did a bit of food shopping.
I have baked a birthday cake for my 10 year old DS's sleepover tonight. I am doing more hours from next week at work so I need to prepare meals for the freezer. I made some Mexican chicken chilli and prepared some curried coconut chicken breast to put in the freezer. This evening I making chickpea soup and a big batch of carmelised onions.
I am having a quick coffee just now and then I am to take ds and his friends. I will have just enough time before we go out to make the pizza dough. The we are off bowling. I am so looking forward to relaxing witha glass of wine and my new book after they are all fed and watered and my cooking is done.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.GC 2011 Feb £626.89/£450 NSD3/7 March £531.26/£450 April £495.99/£500 NSD 0/7 May £502.79/£500

Coldstreamalways - wishing you all the best, I do hope it is all okay.
Katholicos - just to say I was extremely surprised by the Sainsbury Basics range - the grated cheese cost less per kilo than the block cheese! You cannot even blink when it comes to supermarkets.
Hugs to all.
Jorgan - hope all goes well.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -

MUMMYSAVER, Thank goodness you're ok, take it easy.
COLDSTREAMALWAYS, you'll be so relived when it's over, getting upset is natural. Don't forget we are here for you.
NOAHSPENNYLESSMUMMY, I looked up Dyspraxia as I wasn't sure what it was. I found a very helpfull page after googling it. It does say that in most cases a child will improve with age. Yes it's a lot for him to cope with but with your love and support behind him, he's gonna be fine. Take care of yourself and get as much help as poss, there are lots of support groups out there. (((((((hugs))))))))))0 -
Hi
Gosh Bargainbirds waters breaking live on MSE! hope its babytime now and they dont send you home:rolleyes: best of luck for a happy healthy birth.
Thanks for everyones comments on Noahs assessment today.....we are back from it and it proved rather difficult:rolleyes: ......the fact that he has autism made it difficult to assess his motor co ordination skills but they agree he does have a significant problem with it.
On the positive side the physio who saw him at the autism centre today is rather shocked and surprised that school think he can manage mainstream with the paltry amount of support the LEA have given him and thinks that specialist autism provision is more appropriate:T ...prior to this I seemed to be the only one who could not see him getting through mainstream.
We are all having a meeting about it soon and she says she will come and support me on it:j .
Hugs to Coldstream it must be a very scary time, maybe you should tell OH and let him support you....I know its difficult sometimes, I tend to keep things to myself to avoid upsetting others but am sure he would want to help and comfort you.0 -
