LOL the screens been changing for me - I quite liked the variety. Let's do it again folks, half an hour the new design on, half an hour off and on it goes.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0

Hallelujah ....... I can see again :T
What a wonderful site / sight.
Please leave the lines in ...... you can tint all you like, just leave the definition. I like trees and garden fences ..... and lines on forums. If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
Webby - your wish is my command :rotfl:
and my blood pressure has now gone down nicely, thank you for asking.....................I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

I didn't/don't like the changes - it made it much harder to read the forum pages - things are too pale and numbers etc are far too small - very headache inducing!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Yes, I'd agree with this. The less-cluttered look on the user CP was good, but posts weren't well enough defined.
The coloured background for quoted text seemed to be popular, but the colour-choice wasn't good, IMO.0 -
phew, it's back to normal. Sanity returns!
The new design and colours are absolutely awful.
Definate migraine material, I think you'll lose a lot of readers if you persist with it because it will cause problems. I know it will bring on migraine with me and I'm sure many others too.
Also with no definition lines between the boards/threads it is just far, far too difficult to read because nothing is seperated, it all merges into one.

I'd rather not visit the forum than know that when I do I am likely to end up with pain. Simple as.
My wife went off to watch tv as she couldn't stand it any more. I 've just told her that it's all back (she hasn't come to see yet) but she absolutely agrees with your assessment!0 -
I think the new colour scheme is absolutely horrible :eek::eek:
I find it hard to concentrate on the text in the messages,
and it is no longer a pleasure to view the pages for any length of time
in fact I hate the new colour scheme so much that I will not be posting again until it's sorted out and if the new colour scheme is to stay then I will quietely go away and do my comping elsewhere
Well that must be the shortest resignation ever 2 minutes after I posted my rant the colour scheme is back to normal
I'm back again!! :rotfl:0 -

Thanks to MSE Ian, we've returned the Forums back to the old scheme as we were seeing some visibility issues on some monitors.

Any further comemnt is appreciated.

As suggested by someone I tipped my laptop screen just slightly further back and could then see the pale pink/yellow in quotes and behind the avatars and it is an improvement but with my screen straight on it was very white and with no lines between the posts did make for difficult reading.0 -
It wasn't broken so why fix it
The forum has looked like it did for years and years and everybody was happy with it. Why do you feel the need to suddenly change the look of it, if it's been acceptable and liked for as long as it has
If it needed changing then why did it stay as was for so long. Sounds like unecessary meddling and change for change's sake to me.
Oh and no, I don't like the new look at all. It's absolutely horrible.0 -
I had to log off as I was getting a headache and my eyes were going dolally
Just logged back on and it seems back to normal:j
Black lines round the edge of things:T
No pastel colours mergeing and making things blurry:T
Martin please keep it like this:A:j:D
