Morning all...........((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))) if you need one......
Cannot remember who is was went to the dentist, but you have my sympathy, I am a dentalphobic too hate the damn things......I went 15 years without going. When I did go all I needed was one filling re-placed......and I have not had anything done since. I do go once a year for a check up, he just cleans and polishes them.....that enough to give me the colly wobbles.
Its a nasty, horrid dull wet day, I was going to the allotment, but forget it, just walking in from the gate I would get drowned. Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
Good morning all from the cold, wet and windy north west. A completely miserable day outside. DH took the furbaby out for her first walk this morning, they were not gone long at all and both came in dripping from the rain. Me thinks DH will be wearing the waterproof trousers at work today.
OS today I have some YS apples to do something with. Not sure what yet, but will figure something. Just a quick tidy and the few breakfast dishes to clear away. Have some LO brisket to do something with also. I'm thinking of soup with carrots, celery, onion, a few lentils and barley. It's the kind of weather where you need something that warms you from the inside out and stays with you.
DH off to work with his packed lunch and I've just been reading on the forums. Still tired today after 2 naps of 4 hours total yesterday and a very good night's sleep. Today, I shall blame it on the weather. :rotfl:
Many hugs to all as everyone needs them, in the hard and easy times.

Good morning everyone.
Just getting ready to go to work.
Got loads of washing to do but not enough of any one sort to put the m/c on. I hate that as I know by the weekend will be swamped, also as no TD I need to wash regularly to be able to get it all dry on the airer. Ah well.
Soya mince and onion pies for dinner, got reduced puff pstry yesterday and need to use up the 49p aldi potates I've been buying. Have been walking into town and buying little and often to cut down, spending, car use and weight.WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb

Well, little bear is just sitting in his chair. I shall have to keep a close eye on him. He doesn't seem 'poorly' but he does seem a bit 'washed out'. I will give it the weekend and then see what the drs say.
Rage in Eden - I am impressed at your restraint. There would have been a lot of men out there wearing the dinner.
Old style - well, I am going to put a 'value' 'roasting' joint into the slow cooker and tonight we are having the soup from that and home made bread. Lovely cold meat and home made wedges tomorrow. Cottage pie Saturday.
My darling uncle is buying me 'The little cyanide cookbook' for my birthday. I am not saying when it is, as I always lie on line in case of identity theft. It is not to poison dear heart but to increase supplies of B12 in food.
We are not making playgroup today, I am not able to go. But dear heart has a day off tomorrow and has promised to take us out. I think that will be the last time in a while, unfortunately, because work is getting silly busy again, which is a relief after seeing all the worries out there, but another few months of him coming home like a zombie and collapsing for the evening are on the cards.
Of course, the day he can take us out is the day it is supposed to tip down in sheets, (not as accurate as N9eave, but I hope descriptive). So I shall be researching indoor places to go.
Halight - don't worry about essays, there are far too many novels from me. And I am very impressed and somewhat in awe of you.
Today also, after putting on the slow cooker I plan to ebay ebay ebay as the house is going to be ready for viewings in three weeks and I need, honestly, to halve our possessions. I am not putting evil cat on ebay. It would get the site closed down.
Actually, worried about evil cat. She is quite smelly, so I may ask poor dear heart to take her to the vets again, see how things are going. I am not going to go for that immediately as the poor old kitten hates the vets and the vets do not deserve a visit from her but I suspect that all is not right in her tummy. She used to be very odd - she would eat and eat and eat and then be sick and then complain that the dinner dish was empty. She once was sick over another cat and I laughed until I fell over (after cleaning the other cat of course, but I was giggling then). I wonder if it has caused problems for her now.
Off now to try and play 'chase' with little bear, see if that will cheer him up.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -

I've just read that this board (OS) is said to be cliquey by other mse'rs??? Where is this said?? Surely the whole idea of forums is for people to have a common aim - in this case saving money - not to talk about other boards.
Off to get the bus to hospital now with dd. 'Talk' to everyone later

Morning all,
I'm just about to head off to bed.
Been another scorcher here today. Could you please send some of that rain over here. The grass is starting to go an awful brown colour. But you know me, I slaved away in spite of it.
Made some cordial, cereal & another batch of pickles. Obviously the cucumbers are liking the heat. DGS arrived at lunch time.
He had about 5 swims this arv, done some painting & he loves Poisson Rouge site. It's a kids website which has great activities for his age group. It's good to put the fan on him & he can play as it's too hot other than swim (in shade) to play outdoors. I would say he's bordering on being fanatical about it.
He has been telling me lots of times today he's going to become a vet when he's big and make all the dead animals at the Museum better.
Bless, aren't they sweet.
Had salmon mornay & rice for tea followed by custard & fruit salad.
Ruby I can't imagine you being insensitive. Come on, tell us what you posted.

Bookie I will cheer very softly just for you.
<Hugs> to those not well. Off for a wee surf and then hit the sack. Hope you all have a lovely day. ByeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.
