specsappeal

morning all!! wet and miserable here today.
not much planned for today apart from a trip to Mr T to get some more zip lock bags for my avon books and some milk. then i think i will sit in peace and watch death race that i rented last night. have dusted all downstairs and need to change DD bed but i may leave that til tomorrow and hope that it wont be raining so i can hang the bedding outside. still have some soup left so will have that for lunch. dinner tonight will be pizza,salad and chips.
Heard that BG have reduced prices by 10% from today so at least thats a bit more positive. doesn't help at the moment though and i am due a gas bill anyday.

Hello everyone - not been posting for a while as I've not been that good. I tore my knee ligament before christmas and it's still pretty painful. Doc said to rest it but that's easy for him to say so I've just been carrying on as usual. Very rainy here. I'm meant to be having a typing test for another digital company today but they only use Windows XP, my PC Is Vista so I've dug out the laptop as that has XP on it but I think it's all rather academic as there is no way I'm using the laptop as it overheats all the time. Still, let's see what happens. Been working very hard - done 10 hour days this week. Don't think OH realises what hard work it is..... mind you, I can do no right at the moment. I happened to say that I thought the US media were going to impolde with frenzy with the new President and got accused of being "the r word". Upset me a great deal as if I was (a) I wouldn't have the only asian GP at my practice as my GP of choice and (b) I wouldn't have married a scot. Needless to say dig being continually made so I spend most of my time sobbing my eyes out. He also seems to have forgot the number of times I've got into trouble at work sticking up for people. No wonder I'm crying all the time I'm just so tired. Also last night I got the stuff out of the freezer, e-mailed him to tell him what we were having and that the stuff was on top of the cooker. So when he comes in he makes something different and when I tell him the stuff was there he just smirks and says "oh was it? I didn't know what that was. I thought you were making dinner".......... Anyway, less of my problems as everyone else has them too...... No work available on digital yet either so I think I'll go back to bed for a bit. Hugs to all in need.

Good morning everyone,it's horrible outside today.Wet and very windy.
I'm waiting for the man to come and change my gas meter.Don't know why they need to.So in the meantime I won't have any heating as they have to come round to do something inside to the boiler afterwards.In my last house I was still waiting till 8 at night,so hope that does'nt happen this time.
Not got much of anything I can do today,so I think I may have a clearout.

Moan away hun. That does not sound like a good experience at all. When I had extensive dental work done, the dentist suggested ice packs for the swelling. I used a small bag of cheap frozen peas because it forms around the jaw better. Maybe you can try that sweetie. Hoping you feel better very soon

Raining and windy here in my bit of Essex today not much to do here just a swish here and there need to do bathroom as DDs were given lovely bath balls that dissolve in the bath but leave a lovely oily mess:mad:

Need to keep an eye out for our oldest cat he seems to be having trouble jumping up and down and walking a bit odly and keeps wanting to go out he went out last night and hasnt come back yet spent half an hour calling him and have tried again this am but no sign yet
