Hi guys,
I have just sat down tonight and am shattered. This week's stint at work is done but it's not been easy. The house has been hoovered through, all but one wash done, a small pile of ironing ready for tomorrow night, uniforms ready, lunchbags done, and a chicken casserole is cooling off - half eaten for tea and the other half to be frozen tomorrow. Even LO had some tonight so it must have been good!! LOL.
DS1 had a good birthday on Monday and loves his lego and also had some money which he is using with his pocket money to save up for the lego coastguard set.
I'm off to the solicitor's tomorrow to draw up a will and finalise something else before it costs more money than it's worth.
Gentle hugs to you all tonight, so many of you in pain and in difficult circumstances.

Moggins - that's such a terrible situation for your poor son, and for you. You really need to speak to the head about this, especially as this is such a critical time for him with it being GSCEs. I do hope you can get it sorted - I hate thinking of youngsters going through this sort of thing; it must be very frustrating for you both. Good luck with it.
Welcome back, Silvercharming!
Halight - so which one of us is first, then?!
Anyway, night, night all!

Hi Everyone
Just thought I'd show my face, apart from cooking, spending rest of the time either working on the family tree, or watching the Australian Open Tennis.:o
BP was not down enough so on tablets. Had enough of the winter, so planning our next trip for the end of next week. Appointment with dietician nurse, so she can tell me to eat home cooked food, and loads of fruit and veg:rolleyes: got cancelled. A bit headachy due to coming off HRT, but other than that I am fine and happy.
((bug hugs)) to those in need.
WS - I know where you are coming from I had one, but had to have an op to drain (no infection until after op, so no pain until then for me), no not nice I know.
Sunnyday - Maybe reminding DD she has to be at least 1 year clear of an attack if she wants a driving license may aid her memory in taking tabs.

Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
 There was just an almighty thud, like a wardrobe falling through a ceiling. I thought it may have come from little bear, and to be honest before my brain cells had kicked in I was upstairs and peeping in on him. He was across the foot of his bed with his head on his pandy, sound asleep. The noise was probably something next door at the back.
Little bear may be calm about it, but I am shaking...
Tomorrow I will have to check everywhere to make sure bits of roof are not missing or something. It was just so loud. At least I didn't hear any breaking glass or anything, so little bear's window is almost certainly intact.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -

P.S. although a bit late Happy Birthday Aussielass:beer: :j
Dr. gave me antibiotics, plus a lecture on not leaving it so long to go and see him:o as what I thought was just an irritating cough is apparently a nasty chest infection. Seemingly after chemo any infection is likely to gallop through your system in a nasty way.So I had my knuckles rapped:o .He is a lovely lad though (about 35, which is laddish to me:rotfl: ) and did wish me a Happy New Year after he told me off,Bless him he's Dutch, and a perfect lamb.0
