The site shows place of registration, number and registered office address as well as the name.

I made enquiries regarding a Data Controller and was told it wasn't required.

There is no competition on the site.

1. The registered office address of your limited company is in Westcliff On Sea. The only address on the website is in Basingstoke. therefore your registered office address is NOT on the website.

2. Even though it is a dead link, there is still a 'Win a Sony Laptop' banner on your store front page. Even though the link is dead, it still constitutes an incentive to make a purchase through a competition.

3. As outlined before, you have a false limited company name on your website: "GLC Group Ltd" does not exist (according to www.companieshouse.gov.uk)

4. Your company registration number is registered to "GC'S PC'S LIMITED". Legally, you MUST include the full details of "GC'S PC'S Limited" as that is the comapny name associate with the company number you have published;

5. You have indicated in this thread that you are winding up. LEGALLY you must make your potential customers aware of this on your website. It appears you have not.

Come on {Removed by Forum team}......These are all very simple things which can be amended or added to your website in a matter of minutes. If any other reputable internet retailer notices an error or discrepancy in their site, it can be changed within a matter of seconds!

Posters on this thread have advised you over and over and over again to make your details both legal and clear, but it never happens, giving people the impression that you simply don't give a toss about what you need to do to stay above board. You may think that posters on here are simply moaning to give you a hard time, but I assure you that these are all legal obligations. You really need to get your finger out and amend these, as it is unfair to other above-board online retailers who invest ££££££'s to ensure their websites are fully legal, user friendly and accurate.
