He is breaking the law (DSR) by only offering a credit note for returned items, and he is describing goods which have had their box seals broken as "new". Also an illegal act.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

I wonder where these goods come from anyway? The seals are broken, so does anyone think they might just have "fallen off the back of a lorry somewhere" and {Removed by Forum team} came and picked them up?Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0

I think eBay has been mentioned in the past. It has been known for some individuals to receive an order, buy it on eBay and then sell it on to their customer.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

IMO you're playing into his hands by replying at all, but one filled with venom such as this makes it look as though he's got under your skin!
The boy's a bit of a Walter Mitty character and probably more to be pitied than blamed.
I worked for many years as a Librarian and saw many, many children who were barely literate when they left school. Without exception they pretended that they had chosen their path in life, when in fact it was thrust upon them by their lack of intelligence.......recognise anyone?I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

I never, in fact, purchased anything from the master masturbator, I simply sent an email asking whether he accepted PayPal; the dumbf**ck (erroneously!) thought I was trying to "trick" him and replied by writing that I should "eat my own sh*t*" and that he had "connections" in my home town (Edinburgh) who would come round and assault me.
I not only forwarded the relevant emails to the Police, but took the trouble of passing {Removed by Forum team} particulars to every single credit card merchant in the land, as well as Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs.0 -

I am still waiting for the £10,000 Benfleet High Court judgement (apparently) this penniless nomark said was on its way to me.
I even give him my full postal address to speed the process along!0 -
{Removed by Forum team},
You still have not included your Limited company name and registered office address on your website, I did warn you that it was an offence not to provide these on your website;
It is also an offence to provide false company information to your website visitors: GLC GROUP LTD is not your limited company name...
I also made you aware that failure to inform visitors to your web shop that the company is winding up is also an offence. This has still not been included;
You are still advising customers that refunds will be credit note only. If you refer to paragraph 3.46 of Distance Selling Regulations - Guide For Businesses you will find you are LEGALLY not allowed to do this.
How are customers meant to spend their credit notes if you have said{Removed_by_Forum_team} wrote: »All that's happening is I am selling off the remaining stock and closing down GC's PC's.
Lastly, you are still have gift cards for sale on your website, even though you did say{Removed_by_Forum_team} wrote: »All that's happening is I am selling off the remaining stock and closing down GC's PC's.
If your website stays in this state, I can see trading standards knocking on the door, Im afraid.Profit=sanity

{Removed by Forum team} is also 4 months late in filing his accounts with Companies House. Another offence. If he does make any money flogging off his stock it will be swallowed up by fines and legal costs.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

He has changed his T&Cs very slightly (but only to say he is closing down) but he is still breaking the law regarding refunds:-
Due to Closing Down:
All relevant UK consumer and trading laws now apply as most of our terms and conditions.
1. Any refunds shall be provided in the form of a credit note
And he still has this:-
New - The mobile phone is brand new and still in packaging. The seal on boxes may have been broken for checking contents.
Also illegal.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
