I bet you are like me & don't actually read what is written on those yellow AA roadsigns stuck on lamp-posts! I have no excuse, working for the department that runs the gallery!
BTW, I didn't watch either - maybe our Lancashire coastal resort is a Obama-free zone?!
Moggins - :grouphug: Talk to your best friend, the joy of having one is that they never say "I told you so" but provide advice & support, a shoulder & tissues when needed.
Hester - hope you have more succes with BOW today
Mioliere - hope your back improves & don't get stuck when cleaning your floors!
Right, I'm off for my bath, have a good day folks - good luck to Halight & Daisychain, hugs to those in need.

Morning All. Up early so kitchen is now looking a bit less like a general dumping ground!
Well done N9eav - that's a fair old post total!
Aussie, I love the photos!
Halight, good luck on the job front, you are sounding very positive.
Not sure what's what today. May do some sewing again - I really am enjoying having my machine set up once more. Probably need to visit Mr T as last went on Wednesday or Thursday last week and I know we need milk today at least. Am having friends round on Friday so need to check the rest of the downstairs is respectable too. Perhaps some baking as well? Guess that's enough to keep me out of mischief anyway!
Enjoy your day - and ((HUGS)) to those in need.Resolution:

Morning all
Big hugs to Moggins, so sorry to hear about your problems.
Hugs to PP, Smokey & anyone else in need.
Thick frost here this morning & it's meant to be sunny later.
Off to work in a few minutes, I wonder what BOW will do today, at least she is making my blog more interesting, lol. I have to produce 1500 copies of our newsletter by today, not that I've got the master yet, oh well, maybe I'll start on the 1500 copies of the Ofsted report, oh no, I haven't got the master copy of that yet either!!
Breakfast - Porridge
Lunch - Ham & hummus sarnies
Tea - Thai style chicken & rice
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs Hester

halight sorry to hear you lost your job.I wish you the best of luck in your job hunting.Something will turn up.
daisychain try not to worry about the dentist.I always think the worrying is the worst bit.I had a single session of hypnosis for dental phobia (as I always had to be put to sleep even for a filling)I have no problem at all now, even had to have an operation on my mouth while awake and it did'nt bother me.
To everyone have a good day.
Take care......0 -
Morning friends.
In a bit of a rush this morning so I will send (((hugs))) to all the poorly ones, those in need, those who have employment worries and in general to those that want a hug.
Kathy please don't do anything silly while your back is so sore, believe me you don't want to do any more damage. I know that most days I am in agony and thats because I was silly one day. The housework can wait
Dinner tonight wuill be cottage pie with beans and the remains of DH's scrummy pudding he made last night served with custard. I will be good and have porrige at work. I wish I had the facilities to make it here as I grudge paying 50p for a small serving but since I'm cutting out lunch to finish early at least it is filling and does me till I get home.
Dentist tonight for me  I will be having 3 fillings done, for some reason my teeth are starting to crumble a bit around the gum line and thats despite not eating a lot of sweet things. I must admit though since stopping smoking Lidl's wine gums have been my downfall
I'm not going to admit that to the dentist though as that will be a scolding and it is just a temporary thing. I will see how pitiful I feel tonight and if I don't feel too sorry for myself I shall clear out one of my glory hole cupboards. I am sure that no one else has large cupboards that are such a mess so I am resolving to keep them neat and tidy.
halight I will savour those hugs
Have a lovely day all

Morning all,
Another day at DD2's doing the insulation in the bedroom, hope to goodness we get it finished as I've loads to do before we go on Tuesday.
Shopping, washing, vacume, dusting, cooking have been put to one side for to long.
I brought the covers off DD's sofa and chairs home y/day and managed to get them washed, I'll hang them out and hope for the best. I'm trying to get all the jobs done that she can't manage. Apart from being due on March 12th she suffers from Sciatica and is asmatic. sp. brain not working.
I have a bolognaise simmering for DH DD SiL2b and my dinner just the spag to do.
Must move some cash for our hols and post cards for F&F who have B/days whilst we are away.
Hope all have a good day. x0 -

Morning all:hello:
Moggins what a dreadful situation for you to be in, I hope you can find a way out of it.
Dd is still not back to her normal self but she's not too bad today. She was a bit sick in the night (in a bowl fortunately), she says her tummy hurts but it isn't tender or crampy. I think she hasn't eaten enough over the last 3 days. I'm sure it is just a virus and I'll give her some more calpol when she gets up.
I'm going to have to take her out today as we've run out of milk and tissues, but it'll just be a quick trip to the farmshop and Tesco Express.
Me and the boys have just had toast for breakfast this morning. They've got cheese sandwiches, apples and muffins (again) for lunch.
I'm defrosting a lb of sausages for tea. I think I might look up a wartime recipe to stretch them, although if Dd hasn't got her appetite back they won't need stretching much.
Btw thanks for everyone's kind comments yesterday:A0
