I called Kellys fuels and was informed their prices wouldnt be dropping yet to reflect the change in the barrel prices, this is because they bought so much at the higher price they have to sell it all first at the higher price

I'm still holding out, especially with this lovely warm weather even with the rain

  • I know that an oil supplier in Carrickfergus this morning dropped the price for 900 lts by £15 this morning, so maybe you should shop around a bit more. Thats going by the sign on their board, was £565 now £550.

Still when I moved into this house 8 years ago, 900 ltrs was £90 :(

Grrr - not just at Kellys but at the whole lot of oil distributors - when the barrel price goes up don't they all instantly put their prices up to reflect the change, and not a whimper about how they have to get rid of the stocks they bought before the barrel price went up. Grrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!

Thank God for my electric shower and dishwasher, I don't ever have a tank of hot water ever as it's far too big an expense and luxury. I've even been known to fill the mop bucket from the shower:o or else use cold to wash the floors. Leccy bill isn't too bad - the shower seems to be v.economical.
