Can you claim Children's Tax Credit from 2002/3?

Have just spoke to my local tax office (cambridge area) and i spoke to a very nice lady who told me that they are trting to get everyone done by the 10th of april and then if you haven't heard anything to give them a call and chase it up.Hope this helps some of you :T

I got a letter yesterday saying the form was received after the deadline when I sent it at least 10 days before. Any tips on how I should pursue it?

I just rang my tax office and they have told me that a cheque has been issued to me for £587.87

This is a huge help to me this month so thanks to MSE for highlighting it! :money:

I posted mine 27/1/09 and recieved a cheque today for £572.60. Can't thank this site enough for bringing this to my attention :j :j :j

oh wow, im so jealous!! im still waiting, i've still not heard anything , really pleased for you though :j. i posted mine on the 29th so maybe they didnt get it in time, wouldn't surprise me as i don't have much luck!

when i've rang my tax office they say they don't even know if they have received it, and to call back on the 10th april if i haven't got it, its driving me mad running to see if the postman has brought a nice envelope for me, instead of the normal crap lol
