How many people have picked up this offer only because they think it is an offer. If they don't check their receipt and notice the error then Mr Tesco has been very naughty in getting you to buy something because you think it is on deal. When actually its not and full price being charged!!
Chinese bags were scanning 2 for £10 today, with signs on SEL saying long term price offer. I think it may be this one is here to stay and the CS quoted on here were wrongly informed?Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

I would have thought a R&R is def in order if the leaflet was picked up in the same store, however most/all the full page spreads(newspapers) with MR T promos always say "at participating stores only" in the small print at the bottom.Having not seen the leaflet myself, does it contain the "participating stores only" on it?.0

Have seen the leaflets personally (but no handsets in store), and all I think they said is valid until 19th Feb, subject to availability. It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.
Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.0 -
Leaflet does say valid till 19th Feb, there is a poster next to the phones as well but does not show the models that have reductions like the leaflet does.
Never mind not meant to have one obviously!0 -

I noticed the 1.43 one had the higher bar code on the end (and hence was the latest price). I pointed out to CS staff, she went to look then credited me back 1.43 - only took one as only really needed one, but nonetheless felt quite pleased I spotted it. I'm sure if I hadn't read this website I wouldn't have ever noticed unless it was a really obvious price difference as normally I just sense-check the bills and check BOGOF's go through correctly.highguyuk wrote:Post this in the misprices thread instead of the discussion :-)highguyuk wrote:The cpjackson site is an external site.

Is our own misprice thread.
Highguyuk you'll be wanting the OP to call you Sir next.

Some people do not know the site etiquette yet, or how to search, think back to your early days and be a little forgiving, this is not a clique.
Rant over! Flameproof suit donned. Waiting.................

Also hello mrs Pea*ce, we met in bolton.0 -
I would post this in the misprices thread, but it'd probably get deleted even though it's further info about a misprice
Nutrigrain Raspberry 2 for £3 offer isn't working as has already been posted. The CS who refunded me today told me it was specifically the packs with the blue & yellow 'satisfy your munchies' sticker on them as they have a different bar code. Whether this would apply to any other flavour with the stickers on I don't know. Sheffield Abbeydale has plenty left as of 3pm today CS removed one SEL but missed a 2nd one higher up0 -

Refused to give R+R as said that that policy only applied to shelf edge labels or stickers on the item. The fact that it was on a leaflet meant that they would honour that price so just giving back the difference.
I was there 45 minutes, it was a complete stuards enquiry, but they would not give anything more than Refund of the difference
I left saying I will be contacting trading standards.
In the 2 stores I've been in today, the leaflet was displayed in a plastic holder attached to the edge of the shelf. Their refund policy states it's the price on the shelf or the item that's important, therefore I'd argue the price WAS on the shelf!0 -

Saw CS being led by customer, so decided to follow and find out what was up. Customer was pointing at price on yellow SEL board showing two cross-out reductions before the final reduced price of 88p. CS called the grocery manager over but thats the point OH diverted my attentions. Checked back later and the SEL was not removed. We only eat Golden Delicious so did not try to get the Cox's.
The price integrity department looked pretty kean - he kept walking around the store with his scanner gun at his side held like a wild west cowboy ready to draw from the holster :rotfl:-=Mr-J=-0 -

These have been scanning overpriced a few months ago , same time a the finest cheese
Was shocked when I bought these today as I knew they were 87p since at least August, and to have an SEL and till price of £1.22 made reel.
50% price increase.:eek:Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

To be fair, he could have been a stock controller or someone doing reductions, PI are not the only ones to carry "scanner guns"....we prefer memory erasers:DFight Poverty - Hit a tramp!
I don't exist, it is merely your imagination.
