So can we all put this behind us. Promise I'll agree to differ and be friends. We only have a bit of our weekend left and hubby needs attention.
I still and will always have the urge to go RRing. We're saving up for a holiday.0 -
hi All
I know i am going off thread a little bit but , i totally agree with the r&R, and anyoner who wants to utilze it, i used to shop in asda and week after week the brand of coffee i bought would always be 31 p out ,(you only get £2.00 refund at asda) how many people did not notice each week i would compain constantly but it was very easy attitude towards it ?
Also at Ikea we were overcharged £9.00 on a item we got the £9.00 back but as hubby was pointing out the error in store he noticed that a huge crate was only 1/4 full and also loads more were taken from another crate.
If these stores had to pay full wack back then they may make their staff be a bit more vigilant,
I always check my reciept but how many people dont or say "oh its only 31p " and cant be bothered to wait in the cust services.
I beleive the people who are doing the r&r anre actually doing customers a service
As for the point staff dont like it cos their profits are down, only 1 thing to say , sort it out and get the prices correct in the first place, profits ? how much of the profits a company make are from overcharging Bet it comes to lot more than the small amount given out for r&R0 -

tesco should be applauded for offering the r & r policy , however from my own experience and reading others experiences on this thread it seems that some tesco customer service staff and mangers dont like the r & r policy and see fit to cheat and crimanalise customers out of a head office nationwide directive.0 -

Could the reason be that the CS staff are under pressure from their respective managers.I would have thought that if a store has a particularly poor record on r&rs the managers head could well be on the line, maybe spa2k or Tars could shed some light on this point.0 -

Thats sounds a very likely explanation .
Although if that is the case surely a manager could divert more of his or the staffs energy at locating these misprices.0 -
Robert5686 wrote:I dont believe Tesco would do it on purpose eiother. After all for the past year there's been a big sign outside all Tescos saying "thousands of prices reduced each week".
You see I dont understand if prices are coming down as Tesco say they are then HOW CAN THE SEL EVER BE MORE THAN THE TILL PRICE???????????????
In other worsd on the basis of that poster how can T ever possibly overcharge. Maybe I don't understand English.
What you haven't understood is that whilst 000's of prices have been reduced each week, many thousand others have remained the same or gone up.
Over time all prices will rise, its called inflation. Using your logic everything will eventually be free (without R+R!) now thats not likely is it.
Please mate, dont get personal with the "T" guys. For this discussion to be useful and interesting we need their input from "the other side". We dont need to make bad feeling here, others are supposed to come here for support not hassle. :A0 -
