Just to let you all know that I managed to exchange an R&R'd xbox game for a nintendo ds game without any problems today. Although I did do it in a different tesco store. It was priced at £3 less as well so in effect they paid me a £3 refund to take it away! :money:

The OP said that there was no sign on the display showing the £3 off and that the price on the shelf was £10.44. The OP was charged £7.99, hence no overcharge.

Hi, just come back from my local Tosco, I did an average shop and picked up some mars, at cs the nasty girl (I mean rude, awkward, unhelpful) would only refund the difference she called for the manager when I said look at the policy She stated that the policy had changed and only the difference would be given . the manager started his introduction with you have been spoken to before about refunds, no I have not! I said, you are on video I have seen it he told me, he refused to honour the policy and told me to go to trading standards if I was not happy. (First thing Monday) he pointed out that I had had refunds in the past and the way I shop I knew what I would be overcharged.
I told him to keep the money as I was not happy,
Put it in the charity box he told cs

So I will take it further but need advice on my plan of action.
I will probably go to trading standards,
But I would rather take them to court myself if possible,

i do love the way these managers speak to people"you go looking for overcharges/you know what you are going to be overcharged on!"..there shouldnt be overcharges! for people to go looking for! they may aswell say please stop finding these overcharges! as we havent ripped off enough people today ! arghhhh they make me sick!!!!!!!!

it is simple! dont overcharge customers,problem solved!

Their tv ad says 'we check everybody else prices so you don't have to'.... well they bloody well better start checking their own! Or maybe not......then we'd have no r+r's!
I just pity the millions of people they rip off over the year!

well i wen to a store last nicghte and they said that they didnt hsave enough in the till to refund me, even though i paid on card. lol

she asked me if i had paid by cash, i said no by card, she replied, we dont have that sort of cash at night. it was bout £200 though, but i spoke to the manager and he said. no problem it is our mistake and its on the card so no problem. LOL

what the hell were you buying for £200?, i note you've not made any contributions for pricing errors, are we missing somethings?
