Up until yesterday I would have described myself as a "neutral" in this thread. Obviously not happy with overcharging but equally critical of those being overtly greedy with misprice grabbing.
But having read of the atrocious treatment received by "fluff" I'll come off the fence and join the anti-Tesco lobby. Take 'em for what you can, shoppers!
    Can I help?

No Fluff... don't give in! See this through to the end....you are entitled to an r+r and a bloody big apology and compensation.
  • I now Know how some of you guys feel, I thought you were a little mad when saying that Customer services and managers approach you and say things "Your in here a lot arnt you". Well today its happend to me. I visited my local tesco today for my daily shop (fix) and it happend, I was claiming R&R with no trouble at all for a Keane cd a 24 can box of coke and 2 valentine mugs when along comes Mr Manager, "you get these cds a lot dont you" "well be watching in future". Made me laugh a little but felt a little and i must stress a little guilty about what i had done. This was only my 2nd R&R from this store and its only a little one, so i guess i can give it a miss for a while.
    Its all good fun.
Watch out, you never know who is about.

So your saying i don’t even need to buy the item? Just pick it up and mosey on down to CS helpdesk saying, “this is priced wrong! i want it free!”? Hmmm would they not get out of that with the fact that i haven't been overcharged, as I have not yet bought it?

Many thanks for this great topic on Tesco, you guys have helped me so much.

I think we have our wires crossed a little bit here, my apologies. You definately need to buy the item first. Sorry for any confusion and congratulations on your R&R. May many more come your way.

    Don't feel guilty!
Was on the news last week that Tesco earn £1.00 out of every £8.00 spent in this country.
Look at the way they have treated Fluff!

  • Just a little suggestion that might help the misprices topic thin out a bit.

The cpjackson site, is it possible to list the post number so that its easier to back and thank the FIRST person who listed the misprice?

Never mind R&R, you deserve a year's free shopping - delivered so you don't have to go in again - or at least some vouchers! Well done for standing up for yourself, it's not always easy against big business! :T :T :T
