I hope you have a good response from the police. Do not let them fob you off with the old chestnut "we spoke to the person involved and its not really a police issue".
You have been assaulted in some degree and the person responsible needs to be dealt with.
    Goodluck.
Watch out, you never know who is about.

Sorry to say you are wrong on this post to some extent, we are told to question any instruction we are not happy with, I dont mean argue the point but question the instruction to see if it is in fact the correct way of doing this certain task and if we as staff can impliment it a better way then we can do so.[/QUOTE]

did someone have to write this down for you!

are you really happy in your job? not long now to the Tesco Xmas Party, all those extra value sausage rolls, what a way to say thanks to your staff. Re the scanners, they should be fixed when they break down. Apparantley every little helps, well a scanner would help me as i like to keep a tally of what's in my basket, yet they end up broken for ages. If I walked into your store tomorrow would you have this attitude with a customer? Is this what all staff think of customers?

Xmas party still 11 months away, happy in my job......absolutley
I agree the scanners should be fied but lloking at the posts on this site it appears that MR T is switching them off, they are not being switched off deliberatley, things do get broken. Depeneding on what sort of customer you are depends and the way you treat and speak to me. Some customers are real s
and come in for an arguement full stop, I will not tolerate being spoken to like o piece of dirt, and will tel the person that I am terminating the converstaion if they do not stop shouting swearing pointing thier fingers in my face etc etc etc. Treat people how you wish to be trwated and spoken to and everything will be fine. I do not come to work daily to do a bad job and upset people
  • Anyone else seen the sign "Playstation 2 Games £7.99" or price to that effect? Not from or anything, just Playstation 2 games and the price. I wonder if u could call that an overcharge..... many games to be had there!

the police were helpful and a little shocked at my treatment.I have a crime ref number and they have said they will be in touch.Apparently store has 40 deputy managers.I did ask her then n there to ring head office but it closes at 6pm.I was at cs desk from 7-7.30pm.
I'll be ringing head office tomorrow and putting a complaint in writing. But it really has put me off ever stepping foot in another tescos even though they make a small fortune out of me everyweek.
I rung up to try and find out who the manager is and he isnt even on duty this week just deputys.Girl didnt want to give info out over phone.
