    Hi everyone

Hope you've all had a good weekend. I ran the mersey tunnel 10k today and it was absolutely stifling hot. Certaianly wasn't as fast as Monday's time, but I think I might just've been about a minute behind. Will wait for official results to come up and see how I did.

That sounds nice. I've just got home, had a bath, and now sitting down to a nice fab ice lolly and a large glass of pepsi max

I have to say, I thought I was dying when I came out of the tunnel, the heat just knocked you solid as you turned the corner :D

Hello you, hope everything's going well. It was a very good atmosphere, especially at the 7k mark where the fireman had there hose out as a shower :T I've had a shower and a bath today and I can still smell the sea air on me.

That tunnel was a killer, lots of people walked it but I was determined that I was going to run the whole thing. I'm sure I'll regret it tomorrow

I don't get that magazine, I get the runners world one, or is that the same thing and I'm so dehydrated that my mind has lost the will to live? If not, maybe we should do a swap each month after we've read ours :D

I did the race for life with Mrs S off the daily chat. Not helped by the three bottles of wine we drank last night!!! (although I spilt three glasses full).

Loads of people just walked it was so hot and a friendly neighbour had his hosepipe out too...
