Thanks, more than halfway to a world record on both, then. That means if I do the same amount of training again, I'll break the world record, right?Running Club targets 20105KM - 21:00 21:55 (59.19%)10KM - 44:00 --:-- (0%)Half-Marathon - 1:45:00 HIT! 1:43:08 (57.84%)Marathon - 3:45:00 --:-- (0%)0 -

Races are fun when you're ready - the feeling of an imminent race should be like a kid looking forward to xmas.:D
I'm not sure if pressure is the right word? I did enjoy the race and I do love running, I think it's more to do with the fact I had to train so I feel I'm forcing myself to go out.
It's the same if I only have a couple of hours to get a run in, once I'm out I'm fine, but when I feel I have to go out now I drag my feet right up til I'm getting changed and heading out the door :rotfl:
I guess what I meant was it was nice to go out just for the pleasure of the run.

Thats right and if you do four times as much training.....you'll be twice as quick as the WR!:p;)Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Once again this thread has become very very long. The MSE team says that this can put an undue strain on the servers (don't ask me how), so it is time for a new thread.
