Rich I hope your head injury is nothing serious but it's wise to get it checked out.

Hi everyone, My this thread moves fast! I hope you are OK Rich, I don't like the sound of the falling stone incident. Becky, I hope you are sensible - I know it will nearly kill you not to run until June, but better to do that than end up being off for 6 months.

I'm really feeling up for a run at the moment, but I'm just going to have a little one tomorrow evening. I don't want to over-do it.

I wanted to share with you that my son played football for his school this evening in the district schools cup final (Yr 8). They won 2-1 and he scored both goals. :j How proud a mummy am I tonight? He has a medal just like me.

Bagpuss - that sounds like a great run. I know it was tough, but in time you will be eating up runs like that. Well done, keep it up. It really helps me to have a run chum. I much prefer it to running alone.

Simply - A bit late, but Happy Birthday. Enjoy what is left of it.

    Ooo you lot can nag!:p;)

Given the all clear but they are a little concerned about the welfare of the stone!:p:p

So no headache any more, and the eye is back to normal...just a lump to show for my efforts now.

Nice running, Simply. You will notice that you are now quicker on tired legs than a little while back on fresh legs...a sure sign of progress!:D

Chick, you seem to have brushed off that little marathon pretty swiftly. Enjoy your first recovery run thi evening.

Lots of practise Rich - now if we had a thread for nagging I would be up there at the top.

I was wondering who would look after us all if you were mortally wounded (only joking!)

Rich, great to see that you're OK. How long did you have to wait last night?

Yes I'm feeling OK after Prague. Have been laughing this morning at my photos. They even have video online of me crossing the finish line! Amazing.

I'm looking forward to a nice little run tonight. I don't want to overdo it but I'm itching to get back out there. Its funny, I did get the 'never again' feeling straight after the race, but now I'm feeling a bit sad that it is over, and I still want to do my Saturday long runs. I'm going to have a look round over the weekend for an Autumn target race. Probably not a full marathon, but more likely a half. I can't train without a goal, it all seems a bit pointless.

By the way, DS is still beaming all over his face this morning. :D
