It was a coping stone from the top of a wall. I was in the garden below it and I heard some kids playing up above. There was a scraping noise and when I looked up this stone was already on its way to collide with my head. I tried to move, but not quick enough and the corner of it gave me a right thwack.
You wouldn't have wanted to be operating the bleep machine while I collapsed to the floor attempting to register what had just happened.:p
Anyway, now I have a big lump, a throbbing headache and my left eye is a bit odd (although I can see pefectly okay).Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Ouch, sounds like it's worth getting it checked out Rich especially if your eye is a bit 'odd'.

Rich get yourself down to the flipping hospital for goodness sake. You should never sit around and be complacent when you have had a head injury. Look at Natasha Richardson!
Nag overI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

My goodness that run was hard tonight! 5.48 miles in total. I jogged the 1.24 miles to my friends house in 15 mins, we ran our 3 mile circuit in 39 mins (last run was 43 mins) and then about 18 mins for the 1.24 miles back to mine! Sometimes it felt like my legs were moving but I wasn't getting anywhere (like what happens when you dream sometimes!!)
And Rich - get to A&E!Good wine needs to breathe, if it stops breathing try mouth to mouth.0 -
Yay our nagging worked
