where is your sense of adventure!:D I thought KM could do most of it....you could do the second most then the other five a little bit more and I would do just one lap :D

Argghhh, so you want me to do MORE than 3 hours of cross country?

I'm not sure I like your kind of adventure!!:p:p

Hows about you do the second most...and I'll do 1 lap? Then we might be talking!:D:D

8 people to do 3 hours of cross country!! No thanks!

Come on rich, you'd be great - you should be able to do 4 laps in your 3 hours, no probs!

Quite fancy the idea of that race, actually - a bit more teamy and endurance...also running through the night would be...interesting :)

Trust me, these type of events fall firmly into the category of 'it seemed like a good idea at the time'.:p

As for being teamy, once the event is under way for a little while the running is very, very lonely usually without another runner in sight....and hanging around for the other 21 hours is probably the hardest part of the equation since its not really fair to do your stint and b*gger off is it?

We used to end up in the pub and abandon the second half in these type of events and thats when we had a bunch of hardcore running nuts.:o:o

Dont mistake it for a fun run!;)

Don't even think about it is my advice!

These are specialist events not events designed for a group of mates to have a bit of fun.

Its not as though there's actually anything to cheer on - just the odd runner jogging in every now and again in a half hearted way. In effect its a different sport entirely that you really need some enthusiasm for to get involved.
