becky, I don't think I will be doing the twice daily runs - I was thinking of doing them if the feet didn't allow me to go far, on the basis that a couple of runs of 3 miles would be better than none......but as I did 6 miles today without any foot problem, I will be happier doing a similar length run in the evenings, rather than splitting it down.....
So, the plan is to run tomorrow evening while the children are at karate......I can easily fit another 6 miler while they are there
Plus, I am not as [STRIKE]mad[/STRIKE] dedicated as you are......:DSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Raphael - Thats a solid first week and a sensible approach in terms of keeping the injury risk as low as possible.
Good luck with the big step up today.:DGt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Morning all runners
Iv had a quiet weekend, didnt manage to get out as the oh has been ill, so been taking care of the kids for her, giving her some peace and quiet time, went into town and picked up some more cheap running tops from JJB. Reduced from 25.99 to 10.00 and 15.99 to 8.00 so well chuffed. Very mse and they ar ultra bright white tops so i will stand out in the evenings when i can get back out.
Well i managed 20km lask week, so hopefull will increase this week, but have got circuit training this afternoon and the fitness test on tuesday morning so dont really want to push hard tonight as i really want to pass the test in the morning.
Rich as iv managed 2 lots of 10km in around 60 mins should i stick at this distance and try to get the time down or increase the distance and stick with the pace?
